~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Senate Building, Coruscant)~~~

Helping Satele take Ziost will not help The Republic. It won't help her win this war, either. She doesn't know what the future holds, but I do. If I tell her, it'll have repercussions that could destroy the galaxy. I don't want that.

I take a seat next to my old Master, and we both lean back in the chair to relax. She's waiting for a response, and I know that my eventual answer will be what she expects. But I want to know some things.

"What makes you think taking Ziost will affect the war in any way toward the side of The Republic? It's in deep Imperial space and heavily occupied since your last occupation of the world."

Satele is no idiot, and she's likely to see these issues. There are reasons why Ziost is a poor target. It's not a world that would help The Republic win this war if they take it.

"Ziost holds information of where The Emperor is located. No one knows where he is, not even The Dark Council. Some of our spies have told us that there are databanks on Ziost that hold the secret."

So that's why Satele wants the world so much. It holds the secret of where Darth Vitiate is hiding. What they don't know is he's right above Dromund Kaas. It's a Citadel that's got stealth tech hiding it. I remember it from the game.

"And you think that getting that information and killing The Sith Emperor will win the war? The Dark Council is the real power behind The Sith Empire."

She knows this too. What I'm trying to do is convince her to go after something else that's valuable. The Emperor plans to die anyway. It's the only way to complete his plan to bring The Eternal Empire into the galaxy in the singular body of Valkorion.

No one knows any of this besides me, and that leaves me with a choice. I could let things play out as they did in the game. Or I could manipulate things. Manipulating things will cause untold destruction. Sticking to what I know is the best option.

"The Sith Emperor is the strongest Sith in all of the galaxy. If we can kill him, it'll send a message to all of The Empire that we're winning this war. We'll gain tremendous momentum and can use that to end the bloodshed."

For all the power in the galaxy, there is nothing that will stop the war from coming. Nothing will stop the bloodshed. Nothing will stop the war The Republic and The Empire are in.

"I can't help you with Ziost, Satele. Even if it were a viable target. If I interfere in the war, what do you think will happen?"

My power causes more damage than people realize. The fear I instill in people isn't a joke and an entire galaxy fearing what I might do isn't how to end a war. It's how to suppress one.

"You could stop this war from escalating more than it has. I wanted to beat The Empire in a preemptive strike on Ziost. But Marr saw to the failure of that when he invaded Corellia and took the world."

The person I'm talking to doesn't sound like the Satele I know. She's unsure and desperate. But it's not like the games even went into detail about how a character is feeling in their private moments.

What they're struggling with when they're alone. This isn't an exact copy of Star Wars: The Old Republic, either. While the universe is similar, it's not the same. For one, I exist. An identity from another place called Earth and given Godlike power here.

"Do you want more Ryloths."

It's not a question but a statement. That's the way this war would end if I were to join. The Sith would rather die and burn than surrender. I would end up destroying world after world with The Force. Just as I did Ryloth.

She looks at me, and I can see the realization she's having. The consequences of asking me to use my power to end a galactic-scale war.

"I'm sorry I bothered you with this again... By The Force, I haven't even asked you how you've been since I last saw you..."

Now I'm starting to see the Satele that I know. The one who I grew up knowing. We could talk for a while. Marisa and Nella won't be back for a while.
