Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Lightsaber Battle in a Snowstorm

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Outside Republic Base Guarding The Caves of Ilum, Planet Ilum)~~~

The Force warns me of the dangers of fighting in such conditions... The Jedi's that are across from me aren't visible... Only their blades are visible to me, and the harsh wind and snow cover makes it to where they can only see my yellow blade. Not saying another word, I launch into the air and lose a visual of their lightsaber blades. On my way down on top of them, I see them again.

As I land in the group's center, I'm assaulted by strikes coming in all directions. Blue and Green blades are slashing through the snowstorm and wind. I'm dodging and parrying. My yellow blade meeting and retaliating against attacks. The Force is warning me of every attack, and I counter appropriately. But, all these Jedi... They're not pushovers.

If I wanted to, I could've already killed them all with my power in The Force. Many would say it's unwise or foolish... Arrogant even... It's an opportunity to see how strong I've become every single time I clash blades with another. My lightsaber skills have always been far behind my Force Abilities. I've worked hard in growing my skill, but it's hard to close that gap.

My power in The Force grows faster than I can keep my lightsaber skills up. The group of Jedi is coordinating their attacks. I can hear them communicating in their minds. Planning and plotting. Making more and more moves towards a better position for them in this battle. They are so focused on what they're doing. They fail to notice that I can hear their thoughts.

Every move they make... Every swipe and slash towards me is intercepted, and before long. I parry one of the weaker Jedi Knights, and I cut his head off. There is no blood from lightsaber strikes. The heat cauterizes the wound before it can bleed. That's one of the Jedi Knight down and a few more to do. They all deactivate their lightsabers and leap into the white void of snow and wind.

While I can't see them, I can sense exactly where they are. Their minds are connected, and they're planning again. While they know, I can sense where they are. They know that I'll have to go out of my way to go after them individually. Too bad for them. I'm extremely powerful in The Force. I hold out my hands in front of me, and all of the Jedi in every direction are gripped.

At the moment, they're all grabbed. I close my hand, and they all come flying towards me simultaneously with The Force. Before they're entirely on top of me, I let go, and all their lightsabers ignite. I start unleashing a furry of attacks at the Jedi, taking a turn in attacking me. It's like I'm fighting blind, but at the same time. The Force is guiding me to victory.

This is an important learning experience. I've fought with my sense depraved before, but not in a real combat scenario before. Most of it was when I was training on Tython and with Satele. "You won't win this battle, but I admire your will to fight till the end." My words send a warning to the Jedi, and this is when I kick it up a notch.

I get into my custom stance, and I deal with Jedi after Jedi. Killing one after the other. After a brilliant display of blade work, all that remains is me and the leader I spoke to before this fight broke out. But before I can continue, blaster fire from the howling snowstorm and wind interrupt us. I sense all the bolts and send them back the way they come. While blind from the snow.

This snowstorm and wind have become a real bother, but I've enjoyed the process of learning how to fight in such terrible conditions. To get actual real experience. I throw out my arms in both directions and release a powerful Force Wave. As the Force Wave ripples out, it destroys the nearby Republic base, and the snowstorm quickly clears.

The Jedi I was fighting has been sent back towards the base, but he's unharmed. Now that it's clear, I get a good look. It's massive. They're really protecting this place.
