Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

Belsavis, Republic Prison World

~~~(POV: Darth Marr, Dark Council Member)~~~
~~~(Location: Personal Capital Ship, en route to Belsavis)~~~

The blue light and mixture of hyperspace pass by as we continue our approach to Belsavis. The reports that it's a Republic-controlled world are correct. A world they used to house their most dangerous enemies, and one of my main objectives in my campaign against the Republic and strengthening of the Empire. Many don't know its true worth.

Those that do are either dead or are too afraid to talk about what's buried under the prison. A Rakatan world and one of their most important ones. A central piece to their Empire. Long before any Jedi and Sith were at war. Before, there was a distinguished difference between the light and dark sides of the force... Where Rakatans ruled everything.

Their technology will bolster the Empire's campaign for galaxy-wide domination. "My Lord, We're about 10 hours away from Belsavis. Our scouts are reporting heavy Republic occupation, and other Sith have already started to fight for Belsavis." There are competent Sith in our order. Some recognized to power that Belsavis could offer.

The world of Belsavis technically belongs to the Republic, but it's being occupied by both Imperial and Republic forces. It's a place of heavy conflict, and not just our war is happening here. The inmates have been causing problems too. "What are the reports on the inmates and where they stand?" The Captain hands the datapad to me for me to look at myself.

My masked eyes slowly go over the information, and I see that this is where we can have a distinct advantage. "Captain, I want you to contact our forces on the ground and tell them to try and communicate with the inmates. Sway them to our cause with promises of money and freedom." He bows slightly and takes off towards one of the many comms stations.

I feel a great reckoning coming to our Empire... I've felt it for a while now. Slowly building out in the dark, among the stars. The day around 50% of all Sith in the Empire died in a single moment. I was strong enough to resist the attack, but I feel that Nathan Opal is preparing something. To finish what he did that day.

My questions are in regards to why he doesn't do it again? He has the power... Perhaps there is more he's playing at... The only saving grace that we had was the Republic was too weak to strike at us when we were so vulnerable. Now we're in the middle of a heating-up war. "My Lord, Darth Baras is requesting you at one of the terminals." My hate towards him grows by the day.

His claim to be The Voice of The Emporer is false, to be sure, but he's not a weakling. He has the power to defend and keep his seat on The Dark Council. "Tell him that if he wishes to speak with me, he's to meet me on Belsavis. Otherwise, he can stay on Dromund Kass." The Captain gulps and heads back the way he came.

My objectives are too important to deal with Baras right now, and he can play whatever game he wants. It's of no consequence to me and my goals. He doesn't have the power to reach me yet. I look to my left as a hologram comes to life, and it shows another Sith. One that rivals even me in power, Darth Jadus. A Sith as true as can be.

He folds his arms and stares at me in silence, and I keep my hands behind my back, and I look at him. Both of us are masked and impossible to read. "Darth Marr, I heard about your expedition to Belsavis. Sorry that I missed the council meeting. I had something to take care of." There are only a few people in the Empire strong enough to do what they want when they want.

All of those people are either very powerful Darths or are on The Dark Council already. We don't force each other to appear at the council, but it is encouraged. "No need to mock me, Jadus. There is much Belsavis can offer, and I'm making sure we get it instead of the Republic." Jadus uses subtle mocks and oppressing power to get what he wants.

None of that works on me. He knows that too, but that doesn't stop him from trying. "Actually, Marr. I wanted to talk to about a serious problem I discovered." Jadus doesn't mess around, not when it comes to things he deems the slightest bit important. "I've come into some sensitive information regarding Nathan Opal, and I need your opinion." I knew it. Nathan is up to something.
