98 Chapter 96
A/N: I did mention this in the Paragraph comment but wanted to let the reader's know again.
I forgot to mention that is was Mauls Clone that Palpatine was talking about since Maul is currently imprisoned by Alexander, I got too caught up in the story and forgot to mention that before.

All of the inquisitors was engaged in a fierce battle with Confederacy Droids as like always they had numbers.
Maul's Clone was currently fighting with Count Dooku who appeared to have the upper hand in the battle since Maul's Clone was severely limited in term's of the Force but he still had the same abilities that Maul did.
Maul's Fighting style was an aggressive one just like most of the Sith's which sought to end their opponent's with a barrage of attack's and overwhelm them.
So despite Count Dooku fighting a Clone he was still not able to strike his opponent down so easily. Meanwhile General Grievous was easily striking down a few of the unlucky inquisitors who tried to fight him.
But at the same time he was surrounded by a lot of people with Lightsabers while the droids behind him fought of the other Inquisitors who was slicing through them like it was nothing.
Ventress was fighting three opponents at once while receiving support from the droids behind her. With all three of them combined with the Droids the Inquisitors had lost the element of surprise and was now on the losing end of the battle.
One by one they were killed until only the Clone of Darth Maul remained.
"Give up now or I will have no choice but to strike you down" Said Count Dooku.
"Never!!" Shouted the Clone of Maul as he charged at Count Dooku only to be blocked then cut in half by General Grievous.
Once the battle was over, one of the Droid Commanders had walked over to Count Dooku.
"Sir the fleet in orbit is under attack by Imperial forces who outnumber them, they can't hold on much longer" Reported the Droid Commander.
"Gather all the executives and we will slip off of the planet while the fleet distracts them, so tell them to keep fighting until told otherwise" Ordered Count Dooku
"Rojer, Rojer" Replied the Droid Commander as he relayed Count Dooku's orders to the Admiral.
Within minutes the executives were all escorted to the shuttles that they arrived in. Count Dooku had prepared for this and had brought with them shuttle that had hyperdrives in them.
Although it wasn't apart of his plan to fight an entire 3 shuttles worth of inquisitors, he still managed to survive and the shuttle came in handy.
His original plan was to kill Palpatine which would cause the Imperial fleet in orbit to attack the Confederacy fleet which would be used as bait while he leads the Executives to the shuttle he prepared and escape the planet.
But that plan was interrupted by Palpatine's own plan.
Once everybody was aboard their shuttles, they had left the world slipping passed the battle and retreating back to the separatists owned space.
Once they had made it to safety all of the executives and Count Dooku had gathered together to talk about what's next.
After what happened on Chanosant the Galactic Empire will be their enemies from now on. And since the Republic no longer existed there was no civil war but they still kept the name Confederacy of Independent Systems since it was already well known throughout the Galaxy.
Before they were just a separatists organization but now they are a full fledged Galactic power since the Republic is defeated.
They had big enough fleets to enforce their authority and they had the money. Count Dooku would remain the Head of State and General Grievous would remain the Supreme Martial Commander of the Separatist Droid Armies.
But instead of Separatists Droid Armies he would be the head of the now renamed CIS Droid Armies not much of a change since the Separatists and the CIS was the same thing. The Senate of the CIS just wanted to get rid of the Separatists name since the Republic no longer existed.
The CIS already had a pretty stable government as they had a Head of State, a Senate, A Senate Congress Leader also known as one of the two Heads of Government with the other being Count Dooku, A Commander-in-Chief which was General Grievous.
The Executive Branch of the Government, The legislative Branch of the Government, The Military Branch of the Government which comprised both the Droid armies and the CIS Navy, They had a currency called Confederacy credits.
In addition they had the backing of multiple powerful Corporations which controlled a lot of the Trade in the Galaxy so their income would be a large amount per year.
The only thing they worried about was the two wars that they were in. So to end one war they sent a messenger to Lehon to see of they can seek peace with the Terran Ascendency who was already taking many of the planet's under their control.
So the messenger was put on a small ship and headed to Lehon as a diplomat from the CIS seeking an Audience with the Emperor.

A/N: So Coming up will be of course a time skip with a lot of development happening in the Terran Ascendency. Alexander will get married with Padme being either a future addition or she will marry Anakin since they already know each other from the many missions he went on during the Clone Wars.
I still haven't decided on which one I will do. As for the Peace deal well Alexander only went to war with the CIS because they attacked Olympus station and they were easily thwarted. So Peace is an option that will come with a considerable amount of concessions on the CIS part to convince Alexander.
As for the war with the CIS and the Empire it will enter a sort of Cold War status with small engagements happening here and there across the Galaxy until it build's up to a full scale war once again in about 20 years or so.
So these are the potential plans for the future chapters with maybe somethings changing and of course I didn't mention everything since it will just spoil the future chapters.
