145 Chapter 142

In an instant, the Galactic Empire's downfall was set in motion. Some would say it had actually fallen already, as the remaining Imperial forces stood no chance against Alexander and the Terran forces.

With Palpatine's demise, the Empire's reign had come to a close, ushering in a new era of dominance for the Terran Ascendancy in the Galaxy.

The fall of the imperial Palace which was the old Jedi Temple had marked the end of the battle on Coruscant which had now fallen under Alexander's complete control.

Terran forces scattered across the planet and set up Garrisons to ensure the planet stayed under Terran control.

Alexander took over the Imperial Palace and turned it into his own Palace and new Headquarters to coordinate the war from Coruscant also known as the Center of the Galaxy. The reason for this was because Throughout time Coruscant served as the Capital of various powerful nations whom controlled a majority of the Galaxy.

As such throughout time it developed into the undisputed center of the Galaxy.

Also Coruscant was closer to the war front making it easier for Terran Fleets to reach their target's in a short amount of time.

Engineers were already on the way with the necessary parts to build a Hyperspace Gate. The process of building the Hyperspace Gate has become more easier overtime, now instead of it taking months, the process has been slimed down to just days.

Pieces of the Hyperspace Gate were assembled before hand and would only need to be transported to the desired location and put together.

A few days later and word had already reached the rest of the Galaxy of Palpatine's death. Following this news the Empire just as expected shattered into dozens of Factions led by Grand Admirals, Grand Moff's, and other high political figures.

Each claimed to be the Emperor and successor to the Galactic Empire.

Meanwhile on the CIS front, Yrena and Yona were the Supreme Commander's for that portion of the war front with dozens of Admirals below them.

Legion was also sent to support them with his massive fleet that only had a crew of war droids who crewed the ship, flew the fighters, and even had an large Droid invasion army.

Count Dooku wasn't surprised by this attack but he was unprepared. Thankfully the Imperials had broken into various factions which relieved a large portion of the CIS fleet to defend against the invading Terran Fleets.

The Terran Navy had the largest amount of ship's in the Galaxy at the moment. The CIS have about 3500 ships with Billions of Droids in the Droid army. Compared to the Terran Navy which has 10,000 ships that number was nothing.

All the factions in the Galaxy combined wouldn't even compare to this Navy size so how could the CIS contend with this?

The answer was simple, it was their massive Droid army which could slow down the Terran army. From the start of the war each planet that they landed on so far has not been taken yet.

The amount of droid resistance was enough to slow down the progress of the invasion.

The battle on Coruscant had been won, but the war was far from over. As Alexander settled into his new headquarters in the former Imperial Palace, he knew that the fractured remnants of the Empire didn't pose a challenge to his rule. The galaxy now swirled with chaos as various factions vied for power in the absence of a clear ruler.

In due time Alexander would become that Ruler and bring the Galaxy together under his rule.

He understood the delicate dance that was about to commence - the intricate maneuvering of power players, the alliances formed and broken in mere moments. As he gazed out over the bustling cityscape of Coruscant from his new perch in the Palace, Alexander could sense the undercurrent of tension that gripped the galaxy.

Reports flooded in from all corners of the galaxy, detailing the rise of self-proclaimed Emperors and Empresses, each laying claim to the throne that once belonged to Palpatine. It was a cacophony of chaos.

As he looked out at the sea of lights that stretched out before him, Alexander knew that the path ahead would be treacherous. The galaxy was ripe for conquest, but it would require more than just military might to bring it under his control. It would demand cunning diplomacy, strategic alliances, and perhaps a touch of ruthlessness to navigate the turbulent waters of galactic politics.

But Alexander was not one to shy away from challenges. He relished in the complexity that lay before him, seeing it as an opportunity to showcase his prowess as a leader. With a steely resolve, he began crafting his grand strategy to solidify his hold over the Galaxy.

One of his first moves was to reach out to key planetary systems and influential figures, offering them a place within his burgeoning empire in exchange for their loyalty. The allure of stability and protection in such tumultuous times was a powerful motivator, and many swiftly pledged their allegiance to Alexander in exchange for keeping their ranks as governors, or sector leaders.

But Alexander knew that true power was not just in military might or political alliances; it also lay in the hearts and minds of those he governed. With a careful eye towards public perception, he orchestrated grand displays of generosity and leadership, endearing himself to the common people of the galaxy. His image was already good in the eyes of his people but the Imperial Citizens had been fed propaganda twisting his image in the eyes of the people.

As months passed, the fractured remnants of the Empire and other factions began to realize that resistance against Alexander's ascendant empire was futile. One by one, they either submitted to his rule or faced swift defeat at the hands of his formidable forces.

The Imperial Remnants slowly started to disappear from the Galaxy, while the war against the CIS intensified and Millions of more soldiers were dispatched to bring the CIS and Count Dooku to it's knees.
