As the two ships sailed into the Port of Ashfeld, people and merchants gazed in awe of the mighty Ottawan Resolve.

Archie, the Ghost, Tempest, Juno and the Overlord, all well dressed, departed from the ship and met up with the second prince and his guards. As they walked, New Ottawan 451st soldiers helped escort Archie and the others to the castle. Upon reaching the castle gates, the Ghost whispered to his grandpa.

Ever seen anything like this?

No, not in my eighty-five years of being alive.

As they continued inside the castle, the second prince instructed the Ottawans to stay outside while he in formed his father. As the large door was closed, the Ghost readjusted his mask. He took a deep breath and tried to ready himself for what was ahead.

Once the doors opened, Knight Haede ushered them inside. Once they were stopped, they kneeled before King Eldword.

So, my second son tells me you are from a land far away, refugees from beyond the great barrier. I don't know what you are trying to pull, but this is the fastest way to get yourselves thrown into the dungeon or worse. Despite saving my son's life, I don't trust any of you. Now one of you speak up and tell me the truth.

Archie was about to speak when the Ghost took the spotlight.

Your grace, we pleaded allegiance to the Flag of the once United States of America. To the republic for which it claimed to stand, but it became a nation under god forsaken fools. They allowed a tyrant and his companions to not only destroy our lives, but to also breach your barrier once before. We fought tirelessly, lost friends, family and managed to beat them. However, our highly divisible nation rewarded us with a single order. "Surrender or Die", unaware of a threat created by this tyrant as a last laugh. We took our exile and managed to keep going, only to lose our new home to this threat. We had no choice but to breach your barrier and carry our battered banner once more. If your grace would look out the castle windows, you shall see one of our naval vessels. What your son claims about us saving his life is true. We came upon a band of pirates attacking his vessel and sprung into action. Your grace, we understand this is a hard story to believe, but you asked for the truth. The truth would've save our friends, families and homes should our old leaders have shared it with the people.

The Ghost paused a moment to catch his breath.

Your grace, I am the Ghost of Ottawa, Hero of Ottawa and Grandson of our leader, Archie of Ottawa who kneels before you, in front of me. We understand that you are skeptical, but allow us a way to prove ourselves worthy of you help. We came seeking an alliance or friendship of a kind. My people, the New Ottawans, are a proud people who wish to settle down and help those in need. We may love peace but we are good at war. If you sent us to fight, we would lay down our lives for our friends, our families, all in the name of peace, prosperity and hope.

The Ghost lowered his head and went quiet as the King thought a moment.

Young man, stand before me.

The Ghost of Ottawa stood up and stood before the King.

Although my son is an arrogant bastard, you saved his live and the lives of the royal guards sent with him. Although his emissary mission was a failure, he brought you all back to me. I can see it in your eyes. You are a proud people who have grown weary. Although my second son is the product of adultery, he stormed in here demanding I give you the Abandoned area of our kingdom. Normally, I would throw all of you in the dungeon, normally. Raise your heads.

The New Ottawans raised their heads.

On this day, so long as you pledge your flags to fly underneath that of my kingdom, I shall grant you the abandoned lands of Ashfeld. What say you, Sir Archie of Ottawa? Will you place your people under my authority?

Archie looked King Eldword in the eyes, his silver hair gleaming in the sunlight. If it means the New Ottawan people shall have a home, we shall fly the New Ottawan Arrow under the banner of the Kingdom of Ashfeld. You have my word, we shall not disappoint you.

Well, Second Prince Zane, the New Ottawan people are your problem until they are settled and ready for inspection. Go, show them to their new home, then do not return until they are ready.

Yes father. We shall leave at once.

As the King dismissed them, the Ottawans breathed a sigh of relief for now.
