Star Spangled Juno: Pandora's Box

As the heroes enter the station, they fight their way through every door, every hall and corridor. The Ghost and Juno leaving more blood than bodies as they pushed forwards, followed by the Overlord, Mercenary, Inventor and Reverend.

The team pushes up as the station is rocked by explosions outside. Supers jump out hoping to catch the group off guard, but the Ghost and Juno massacre their two, the Reverend and Overlord butcher the next two, and the Inventor and Mercenary slaughter their two. Stepping into the command hub of Station One, they become surrounded by Supers and out steps the Assassin and the Archduke. With a nod, the heroes jump into action and start tearing into their enemies, the Assassin and Archduke jump in fighting the Ghost and Mercenary, while the other heroes take on named Supers as well. Juno and Inventor take on Pandora and Artemis, Reverend and Overlord take on Oddball and Dire Wolf.

The Command Hub is a blood bath, The Ghost and Mercenary have their opponents pinned to the wall, beating the life out of them, the Overlord and the Reverend have all but killed their opponents. Juno and Inventor go toe to toe with their enemies, Juno's kinetic gloves shattering bones with every hit and the Inventor's sonic screech making her enemies ears' bleed. The two are back-to-back beating their opponents. Artemis falls to the ground unable to move or hear, then Juno removes the head of Pandora right after.

"You all made a grave mistake attacking us and our allies." says Juno as she and the others turn to see the Ghost and the Assassin going blow for blow.

"You're weaker than what I was told." mocked the Assassin.

"And you're a knock off, cheap, cop out, copy of someone we all once knew. Insult me all you want, but face it, you've lost." retorted the Ghost throwing his weight into the next punch.

The two hadn't stopped fighting as American troops cheered from outside. With a nod, the other heroes jump in and attack the wannabe Assassin. The Ghost catches his breath and huffs in the adrenaline booster. He jumps back into the fight, each of the heroes using their unique gear to beat down the Assassin, but it is Juno who scores the hit that sends the Assassin running. Juno overloads her kinetic glove and with a full force hit to the jaw, she sends the Assassin flying, knocking his ass through a series of trees, rocks and dirt mounds.

"This...isn't...OVER!" he yells as he scampers off away from the fighting.

The heroes and soldiers cheer, holding Juno above their heads.

Once the celebration died down, the Inventor approaches Juno. "What's a girl gotta do to have a hero let her buy them dinner?"

Juno blushes and laughs. "Just asking me to dinner is a start."

The two laugh as the others begin to head back, leaving the Inferno and Overlord to collect data and report back to command what they find.
