A Rock and A Hardplace

In the days that followed the dinner, the outcasted tribes had begun to march their armies to the capital, all of their warriors eager to put their mark upon the battlefield. Within a day, blood was spilled, and the Prince needed reinforcements.

"I hereby call upon our allies, come forth and show the enemy no mercy." read the Ghost. "I also hereby call upon the strength of the American Clan, it is time for you to make your mark upon this world. Show them what a symbol can do."

"Sounds like we've been summoned." said Daniel. "It would appear so, get the 451st ready to move, leave Liberty here, bring the Overlord and the Reverend." The Ghost put on his mask, coveralls, and gripped his sledgehammer. "The burden is mine to bear. Just as you taught me."

The Americans left Fortress Americana, all dawned in their new battle attire. They wore WWII uniforms and gear; they marched holding the Star-Spangled banner high and proud. None of them realizing this would be the battle that changed history.

Upon reaching the capital, the Americans planted their flag, as they were the only faction still standing. The capital was burning when they arrived. The Overlord, Reverend and Mercenary all rushed inside and began to draw troops away from the capital. The 451st began mowing down warriors left and right as they retook the capital, however, the new ally of the outcasted clans finally showed themselves.

"Where is he?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Where is the Ghost?"

"He'll be here, you've got us three for now!"

"A pity, I have to waste my strength on lesser beings." With a flick of the man's wrist, he took out the three legends at once. The soldiers opened fire at him but were met by warriors being body shields for him.

"WHERE ARE YOU GHOST!"

"I'm right here!" The Ghost met him head on; full force punches caught by the man. "Maddock, get them out of here, leave this to me."

"It seems you and I will finally get out match up, how delightful." the man grinned as he shoved the Ghost backwards.

The American soldiers sent up a broadcast beacon so everyone could watch the battle.

"You've gotten weaker Ghost, a punch like that would've had me on the ground, did your battle with Richardson wear you out?"

"You will surrender the capital to us, and I'll make sure your life is spent paying for what you've done here."

"You might as well know my name if you're going to make such bold claims. I am Shadow of the Moon; you knew my ancestor as James, a relative of yours."

The Ghost froze momentarily, before assuming his battle stance. "If you're truly his descendant, you disgrace his memory."

"No, he loathed you with his soul and he taught me exactly how to not only beat you, but stripe you of that ridiculous persona you've adapted."

"Yea and how's that?"

"Do you remember how Patricia died?"

The Ghost froze like stone, clearly this man had done his research but..."

"What's the matter? Where did that demon go?"

The man cocked his arm back and lunged at the Ghost starting the battle.
