Time to Fight Friendly City

As the last people were transported to Ottawa, Nolan and Cryptid stood in amongst a mess of people. 

YOU SAID WE'D BE SAFE!

YEAH WHAT THE HELL TEMPEST!

And BUBBA! YOU SAID YOU'D RECLAIM THIS COUNTRY! 

Before anyone could address the citizens fears, the Cryptid roared, silencing everyone.

How easily you have forgotten the sacrifices they've made to get here. 

Everyone was frozen in fear as the Cryptid Ghost went into his wendigo form.

I died, was reincarnated into another world just to be ripped back here. Yet, none of you seem to know a damn thing about what I did. I was a hero to all of you, but in that world.... I was a villain. I crushed anyone who stood in my way, and you have the audacity to undermine my sacrifice?

I-it's not that Ghost... We're all scared.

I am called the Cryptid of Ottawa now. The Ghost of Ottawa is dead. Now listen up. Anyone not willing to fight, will be cast out to die. Those who do not fight, will have no place in the future. Your heroes did their best and lost, so either stand with them or fight by yourselves. Your choice.

Everyone murmured and shook at the demented words of the Cryptid. 

In the simulation, we lost everyone to Rothschild. You lost me to my mother, but by some miracle I am here again. Yet now is when you all back away and run tails tucked between your legs? What happened to having each others backs? What happened to all of us against them. Division now will only kill us. Either stand with us, or run. Make your choice now.

I think I speak for Lots when I say, head first into hell with the Cryptid! Said Chastity as she held her rifle in the air. 

Chastity... All of you, let's give them one massive bill to pay for! Get this city into a fortress! We haven't time to waste!

As the groups rush into action, Tempest, the Overlord, Chastity, the Cryptid and Nolan all have a quick meeting.

Things were getting dicey there.

I managed to buy us their support, but we need to act on that. 

I know Bubba is in charge of Lots and the ORSF but we needed a strong voice.

Then it's settled. Ottawan Hope, you will lead the Lots Task Force. For now, we get this place ready for war, this will push all of us to our limits, all of us need to be ready. Nolan, radio bubba, tell him to wipe the floor with them. Bomb them out of existence.

Hope, get with Juno and Tempest to coordinate defenses and getting the WPSB ready.

As the teams moved out, the city of Ottawa became the Fortress of Ottawa over the next week. Bubba hammered the Black Vein US Forces hard. His fighters and bombers laid waste to them, halting their advance. The Last War of Humanity had begun....
