Chapter 44 Baby dragon.

Jenny O'Neill was on her way to the Elani system.

She was contacted not long after her husband left and offered a generous reward for coming as soon as possible.

Her task this time was to try and wake up someone from a coma.

Considering her reputation as a doctor who could bring people back from the doors of death it was normal for her to receive such assignments.

What was strange was that as soon as she arrived she saw a system turned into a fortress.

Her team's flet would still make short work of it but any normal attack force would be destroyed .

On her way to the planet she wondered who it was this time?

She received no information about the patient which was also normal in her line of work but there were some red flags starting to pop up now when she was almost there.

-No matter, no one is so stupid to pick a fight with us so i'm probably just overthinking it.

She thought to herself.

After landing she understood why the system was so well defended.

Her welcoming committee was a young noble lady and four of her bodyguards.

-Welcome on Elani 4 and thank you for arriving on such short notice.

-Thank you,but you are paying for it and it's my job,so can I see the patient now?

Elli smiled and nodded.

-Right this way.

On their way Jenny asked some questions about the patient.

-What's the nature of the patient's coma?

-She was my donor, thanks to her I survived a Blood destruction disease.

-And she survived that?

Jenny knew that the transplant was deadly for the donor and what shocked her even more was that a noble kept her donor alive.

She hated the nobles because they treated human lives as garbage, but they paid well for her services so she learned to put up with them.

-Yes she survived and is now in a regeneration tank.

-Well i cant promise you that i will be able to wake her up, this is the first time i even heard of someone surviving this procedure.

-Just do what you can, that's all I'm asking.

They arrived at the facility that turned out to be a laboratory.

- The patient is in there.

Elli pointed at the regeneration tank in the middle of the lab.

She came closer to get a good look at her patient.

When she saw the girl in the tank she went pale and the next moment her aura changed from that of a doctor to that of a killer.

Before anyone could even react all four of Elli's bodyguards were lying on the ground unconscious and the young lady was looking down the barrel of a gun in shock.

When she looked at the doctor now she saw a demon from hell who was looking at her like she was its prey,and the look Jenny's eyes had was a promise of a gruesome death. 

-Don't move and don't even think about trying any tricks.

Jenny's voice was as cold as the space itself.

The doctor then took out her communicator.

-This is the White dragon Actual.

-We hear you,send traffic.

-Call Black dragon actual,and tell him to bring the team here ASAP or I'm gonna skin him alive.

Also tell him that I found a Baby Drogon and she is in a bad condition.

-Roger that,message sent.

Also sent down a medical shuttle and be prepared to receive a regeneration tank with a patient.

-Sending the shuttle.

-That's all for now, call me when the fleet arrives.

She ended the call with her ship.

-And now little girl you're going to tell me what Helen is doing here and where Tommy and Sam are.

Elliana knew that she was now in big trouble.

It turned out that Helen wasn't such a normal girl after all.

Jenny tied up the girl and her bodyguards and then proceeded with the interrogation.

She didn't care that the girl was a noble when her daughter was in a coma when she was supposed to be with her brother.

-Now this is how it's going to work. You are going to explain the situation and if you lie you pay.

Elli was terrified when her captor bright out a knife.

It took a while to tell the whole story and Jenny was feeling her anger rise and threatening to explode any moment.

When Elli finished her story Jenny didn't move for a while like she was trying to come to terms with what happened.

-I should probably thank you for saving her but that doesn't mean I'll forgive you.

All you did was to buy yourself some more time to live.

-Can you at least tell me why you know Helen and why did you capture me?

-I can tell you that.

Jenny looked at her and told her everything.

-And as to capturing you, I have my reasons, one of which is to keep you alive when the fleet arrives.

In the end you did save Helen's life but that doesn't mean that you or your family is off the hook.

She said while looking through the documentation she found about Helen's state.

-You do know that my family is one of the noble families?

Elli hoped that reminding the mercenary who she's dealing with will at least get her out of the bindings.

-Like I care.

Jenny said while shrugging.

-Also I don't think that your family will be around much longer.You idiots managed to anger one man that you should avoid like a plague and when he's angry there are no survivors.

And that's only him. I don't even want to think about what the rest of the team will do when they find out.

-Ma'am we came to get the tank as …

The rest of the sentence was stuck in the medics throat.

-Little sis! he shouted when he saw who was in the Tank.

And then he turned to his lady boss with the eyes that promised a horrible death to anyone involved.

-Who did this?

His words were cold as ice.

Then he saw the five women tied up to the chairs.

-Is it them?

He asked and got his knife ready to cut them into pieces and his comrades all did the same.

Eli was terrified looking at the blades in their hands.

-Stand down! I'll explain later for now to get Helen back to the ship.

-Yes,ma'am.

They put the knives away and got busy preparing the tank to be moved.

-What are you doing ? She is safe here; you don't need to move her. 

Elli protested.

-Safe from what? Her brother and family?

Jenny asked.

-For your information little girl I didn't kill you yet because you saved her and in my opinion it's for her or Tommy to decide your fate.

If I were you,I would pray that she wakes up before He gets back.

Elli shuddered at the thought.

-Now be a good girl and tell your people to hold fire on the incoming fleet,at least if you value their lives.

She said and cut her bindings.

The young lady didn't have a choice,she knew that this group had the fire power to destroy everything.

She took back her communicator and did what was asked of her.

It took a few hours to prepare Helen for transport and in the meantime the fleet arrived.
