Clean Up

"I am looking forward to cooperating with you in the future, Ms. Davies."

With those words, Damian stepped away, and Leslie voiced out, "Why is he back again? He is definitely up to no good. You should stay careful, Valerie."

Once done with the day's work, Valerie successfully managed to avoid the prying crowd and drove herself to her apartment. Thinking about how Lucian was in her apartment, waiting for her— although not pleased— got her feeling giddy inside.

She stood outside, letting the cool air hit her face and calm her down before unlocking the door to her apartment. Her steps paused, and a subtle frown appeared on her features when the noisiness reached into her ears.

Along with that, there was greasy smell in the air of fried chicken mixed with pizza and alcohol. This got her expression to darken as she entered further into the room.

And there she met the sight of her once neat apartment being completely littered. Food was spilled all over the place along with the packaging. Young men and women were present in her living room, making everything more disorderly.

Loud music played, making Valerie's expression worse.

Upon noticing her presence, everyone started to quieten down. Those who stood on the couches got down, and they all stood in a mannerly way, keeping their head down. Although they dared to act loudly and rowdily in her absence, her imposing aura took away all of their courage.

They paled.

Regretting the mess they made, they hoped the actions taken by Valerie wouldn't be too harsh. However, seeing her expression, they doubted.

Lucian, on the other hand, kept on being obnoxious. Pretending to be ignorant of Valerie's arrival, he concentrated on the game on the monitor.

One of his friends cringed at that and poked at Lucian.

"Hey! Stop playing."

Lucian got distracted due to the touch and frowned at the results on the screen. He then vocalized, "Fuck! I almost made a new record! I will get you back for it later on."

They would have clapped at Lucian's strong mentality if not for the current predicament they are in.

The big boss is looking at him as though she wants to tear him up yet he dares to complain about making record— indeed something to applaud.

At this, Lucian finally got his attention off of the screen and turned to face Valerie. The obvious signs of anger on her face caused glint to appear in his eyes, and his lips curved further, clearly taking pleasure in her irritation.

While everyone shuddered at how frightening Valerie seemed, Lucian raised one of his eyebrows, provokingly. He then said, "Oh, Valerie, you are already home. I was bored and invited my friends over. You don't mind, right? After all, you told me to treat this as my own place."

Valerie didn't have a strong obsession with cleanliness, but it's the fact that someone invaded her personal space and then made a mess out of it irritated her. If it wasn't for the fact they were acquainted with Lucian, she might have to take illegal measures to teach them a lesson.

Valerie then proceeded to open up her bag under their eyes. They didn't dare to move a muscle at how pressurizing it was. Only Lucian had the audacity to seem amused.

Valerie took out a notepad and pen before placing them on the table. She then ordered, "Write your names and your parents' phone number."

Everyone seemed puzzled.

Parents' phone number? Everyone of them were in their mid to late twenties. It was too strange to have their parents' number asked.

They all looked at each other, wondering what she would do.

Joseph decided to bite the bullet and nervously questioned, "Ms. Davies, why do you want our parents' number?"

Valerie decided to generously explain, "All of you are adults yet severely lack manners. Therefore, it is a must to arrange basic manners class for you. Two hours, five days a week for three months. I will pay for it."

They were dumbfounded, and as for Lucian, he let out a chuckle.

The woman was usually dull, but she did come up with fun ideas at times.

This really couldn't get any more humiliating. If this got out to the public, all of them would be nothing more than jokes.

One of the ladies voiced out, "You can't do this. We are sorry, Ms. Davies. I will pay whatever amount you want, but going through these classes are impossible. Not only is this unreasonable, we are busy with our daily schedule."

"If that's what you have issue with, I will handle it. And unreasonable? Two more weeks for since you have that mentality. Coming to someone else's place without their permission, destroying their things, and dirtying their place— you are lucky I haven't made a report to the police or media. Would you like that?"

The lady immediately lowered her head, shaking it. All of them were unruly rich kids while Valerie was the one with real power in her hand. Along with her achievements, they have more or less idea on how Valerie deals with those who makes her displeased.

Media covered a lot on that, and moreover, the gossips that spread in their circle regarding her made them instinctively hold fear towards Valerie.

"And clean up this place at least thrice. If it stinks or looks dirty after that, you all will be made to clean it up three more time. No one is going home until cleaning up is done."

Valerie's sharp eyes then fell on Lucian.

"This goes for you too."
