"So... well... I died as it seems? Then I woke up as a character from an online science fiction game... And the craziest thing was that I was in my personal spaceship... Aside from that, I have this weird gaming system bugging me with missions and stuff... So... finally, something interesting happened in my life at last. At least now, I am unbound by anything and can do as I wish." - Acturus Al-Yesod Crawford "In the grim darkness of the endless space, there is only one sole constant that has ruled the space since immemorial, that dictated the life and death, the order and chaos of every single living being. Power. This is the story of one of the most controversial people in the history of the Known Universe, Arcturus Al-Yesod Crawford, the Star Mercenary, Bounty Hunter, Trader and many other titles..." - Prologue Chronicles of the Known Universe: Chapter Star Citizen, Star Date: Unknown *** Tags: Aliens, Androids, Army, Army Building, Automatons, Assassins, Artificial Intelligence, Cosmic Wars, Fleet Battles, Futuristic Setting, Male Protagonist, Mercenaries, Monsters, Outer Space, Nobles, Late Romance, Slow Romance, Money Grubber, Supernatural Powers, Psychic Powers, System, Game Elements, Strategic Battles, Strong to Stronger, Transported into a Game World, Wars, Evolution, Genetic Modifications, Industrialization, Military, Politics, Poor to Rich, Strength-Based Social Hierarchy, Time Skip
Typical strategy of the Orks...
There was no sophisticated approach of the Greenskins when it came to waging naval warfare.
Not many even used Void Shields or any type of shielding when it came to the defensive measures of their ships, as they depended more on crashing into the enemy ships, destroying them in one go.
This was an extremely crude tactic employed by the Orks, but at the same time, it was also unbelievably effective; thanks to the enormous size of their spaceships, they were able to destroy most of their opponents in one go.
Not to mention, once they commended the boarding operations, due to their sheer numbers, they were able to overrun all of their enemies rather easily. Within the known universe, there were only a few factions that could effectively defend themselves from the Greenskins without a hitch.
The rest needed to depend on various factors, such as luck or creating local alliances to defend themselves from the Orkish WAAAGHS that could happen in their territories.
Because Arcturus was right now, near the space of the Eternal Imperium of the Asurya, he was rather surprised to see here Orks because normally, they would be exterminated with extreme prejudice by the Imperial Navy the moment they were registered within the vicinity of their borders.
<Reporting. The state of the weapon systems Obscurus is critical. Implementing safety protocols. hostile space hulk has been immobilized, only 14% original remaining, registered several hundred lifeforms. Awaiting further commands.>
Hearing the report of the Red Queen, Arcturus frowned a bit because this presented both opportunity and risk. If he ordered her to destroy the ship entirely, then practically nothing would happen, though the answers to the question of what they were doing here would also be lost.
If he decided to board the ship, he would need to cut his way through the several hundreds of the Greenskins.
"Can you target and destroy the parts of the ship with the highest concentration of the Greenskins while avoiding the bridge or command center of the ship?"
In the end, the information was too valuable for him to pass up, so he decided to board the ship, though, before that, he wanted to know if it was possible to cut down their numbers even further.
While he still had some battle droids, using the ABD-Spectre MK Battle Droids was out of the question because there was a very high possibility that they would be destroyed, though now that he considered their price and the number of Universal Credits he had, he decided to sacrifice them if needed.
He knew that the Spider Bastion Battle Droids would be safe even against the Orks, but the ABD-Spectre MK Battle Droids were a bit inferior because while they were still a very good model of the battle droid, Orkish skin could defend against a few rounds of lasgun.
Aside from that, Orks as a species had enormous tolerance for pain and punishment, and they could fight even when some of their limbs and body parts were severed and destroyed, so one needed to either have superior marksmanship or kill them in one go.
<All operations complete.>
Red Queen Alice reported the moment when she completed the orders of her master, Arctururs donned his armor and prepared his sword. Behind him, all battle droids were already prepared for the combat, as the four Spider Bastion Battle Droids stood behind him in all of their glory.
And behind the Super Bastion Battle Droids, there were ABD-Spectre MK Battle Droids armed with their lasguns and other equipment; everything was ready for combat before Red Queen transported them to the remnants of the space hulk of the Orkish pirates.
Naturally, she sent the entire group to the place where there was zero to no concentration of the greenskins, where they could make their stand and expand to the other areas of the starship from there.

The space hulk was looking as bad from the inside as it was from the outside; in the end, it was something that belonged to the Greenskins. Aside from the enormous mess and destroyed things, that were all around the empty space, which probably served as some sort of hangar or whatever, was the most notable feature, the ever-present smell.
It was so disgusting that Arcturus almost puked when he was beamed onto the space hulk of the greenskin pirates. The hygiene was absolutely the worst in the entire place; he already hoped to get away from this place as soon as possible.
'We can go further; what is the fastest way to center?'
He asked the Red Queen Alice through his Neural Extranet Terminal Gene Implants, to which the battle droids started marching in orderly formation and advancing together with him through the enormous corridors of the space hulks.
It didn't take long before he was graced with the sight of the Orks as they appeared from the end of the corridor and started madly advancing on Arcturus and battle droids.
Orks were massive, heavily muscled, bestial humanoids, green-skinned and red-blooded, a side effect of their symbiotic physiological and genetic relationship with fungi. The Orkoid physique itself is so robust that it can withstand tremendous punishment, this much he could see when they mostly shrugged off the first wave of the lasgun fire.
When the battle droids opened fire on the Orks, from their behavior, they felt little pain, because even the ones that were most grievously injured, could still continue fighting as they advanced forward.
This was rather fascinating because some of them were already horrifically injured and yet they could still continue fighting despite that.
A typical Ork stands around the same height as an average Human male, though he would be much taller were he to stand up straight instead of being hunched over, as is his normal stance, and his frame is extremely muscular and solid.
An Ork's arms are long and heavily thewed, knuckles almost scraping the floor as he lopes around, and his gnarled hands end in taloned fingers capable of tearing an enemy's throat out with ease.
