Chapter 39

“So, what do ya plan on doin’ with the place? Raise cattle?” Wade’s rich western drawl broke into Mack’s contemplations.

Once again Mack hedged his response; omitting one descriptive adjective. “We’re gonna open a dude ranch,” he said, giving Seth a wink.

“A dude ranch, huh?” the big man responded. “Don’t suppose they’d be any chance you have room ta hire some of us that worked for the Wagoners?”

Seth and Mack exchanged glances. Something that hadn’t occurred to Mac before seemed to now hit both of them at once. How were they going to find staff that would meet the requirements of a gay dude ranch? They couldn’t just put an ad in the local paper: Wanted Gay Hunks to entertain the guests. It was something they’d have to discuss later.

“Well, Wade,” Seth said. “It’s something we could certainly talk about once we make a decision on buying the ranch.”
