Boom! The top of a tree exploded. Chips of wood, branches, and leaves were blown away.
Flap! Edgar landed on a branch. Behind him were some damaged trees from the attacks of angry tortoises. He had been evading their attacks and moving away from them. He made another jump. He was already away from the angry tortoises.
ROOOAR! Their angry roars reached his ears.
"Damn Monkey!" He cursed, then used life detection and avoided the territory of strong beasts. He swung on vines of tall trees, then chose a safe area to rest.
Flap! He landed near the top of a tree. He was looking at a tall fall in the distance and some magic beasts were drinking in a clean river. He sat cross-legged on the branch, then looked at the new skill he had duplicated.
