Cain was dumbfounded when he looked at the translucent panel of data in front of him because he didn't expect that the failure in completing the mission would cause his death.

"What the fuck!" Cain cursed out loudly as he was depressed about the fact that he might die in 30 days if he didn't complete the chain mission.

"What's wrong, My Lord?" Anya was surprised when she saw that Cain suddenly became angry out of nowhere.

"It's nothing." Cain waved his hand before stroking Nix's body and ordered him to speed up because they were flying at a quite slow speed since he wanted to enjoy the scenery.

After flying for more than 2 hours at Nix's top speed, Cain finally saw Eldoria City from his position high above.

He then instructed Nix to slow down and fly with a lower attitude. After flying at a lower attitude for a while, Cain ordered Nix to land because he had something to do before entering the city.

When Nix landed, Cain reminded Anya as he stroked her hands gently. "Remember what I've told you before, and I'll wait for you at my mansion."

"Hehe… I know, My Lord." Anya giggled away and jumped on the ground before running towards the city gate to do her task.

"System, use my 1x High-level Summon Pool." Cain ordered the system while hoping that he would summon someone strong, at least enough to guard him in this kingdom while Anya was away.

When Cain saw the notification, he was happy that this time he also summoned a rank 8 Awakener, even though he knew that Anya was definitely stronger than Dante.

However, he won't complain, as it was more than enough that he got another strong subordinate who could guarantee his safety in this kingdom.

Cain saw that 5 meters in front of him, another Void Portal of the same size suddenly emerged, and someone came out of it before the Void Portal vanished in an instant again.

A man about 190 cm tall with long, messy black-white hair was tied to a bun. He had two long horns sticking out from his head and sharp, pointed ears, and dark tattoos around his neck gave him a dangerous, otherworldly look.

He wore a black cloak with gold designs and carried a sword on his waist. His intense eyes and strong posture made him seem both powerful and dangerous.

When Cain looked at him, he was excited since he summoned a cool subordinate that looked dominating.

"My lord!" Dante immediately kneeled on his knee when he saw Cain, who was sitting on an Ice Dragon's back leisurely while sizing him up and down.

"Okay, there's no need to be so formal with me. Let's go, hop into Nix's back since we need to go somewhere right now."

Cain nodded with an approval look and instructed him to sit on Nix's back, as Cain didn't want to waste any more time.

"As your command, My lord." Dante jumped into Nix's back and sat at a distance with Cain.

"Let's go Nix!" Cain stroked Nix's body, and Nix immediately flew away directly towards the direction his master had told him before.

Cain then instructed the system to check Dante's personal information, as he was curious about Dante's skills and stats.

Cain was shocked when he looked at Dante's personal information because he has a lot of talents and skills, and he knew that it was hard for normal people to awaken a good talent, let alone having four whole talents above S Ranks.

His overall stats were even higher than Anya too, although Dante seemed to be stronger than Anya based on the stats alone, but if Anya were to fight Dante seriously, Anya would definitely be able to kill Dante if she activated her bloodline abilities.

Cain then looked into Dante's talents and skills description since he wanted to copy them if there was any that caught his interest.

Just as he began to think it over, his contemplation was interrupted by a city captain guard, who wanted to prevent them from entering the city without going through the normal procedure.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!" A city captain guard who stood on the back of a rank 5 eagle beast shouted loudly as he pointed his fingers to the incoming Ice Dragon, who seemed to want to go directly inside the city.

"My lord, lemme handle this." Dante immediately opened his eyes and stood up before holding his sword as if he were ready to fight.

"There's no need to do that for now, Dante." Cain waved his hand before standing up and instructing Nix to slow down his speed.

Meanwhile, in front of the city gate, Anya looked at the sky and was already prepared to wreak havoc the moment the captain guard made a move because she knew that Cain was not his match since the captain guard was a strong rank 5 Beast Master.

However, when Anya looked at the incoming Ice Dragon, she was surprised to see that Cain was accompanied by a strong rank 8 Awakener that she even felt a danger from him.

Dante noticed Anya's gaze and immediately informed Cain. "My lord, there is an extremely strong individual that I sense tremendous danger from, and she's even pretending to be a normal person."

Dante then continued with a solemn expression. "If she makes a move, I'll go all out to stall her. You need to flee immediately because I don't believe I can hold her off for long if she decides to fight seriously."

"Hahahaha… Don't worry about her. She is also my subordinate, just like you." Cain reassured him as he laughed, because he felt happy since Dante had just shown such loyalty.
