 "Where am I?" Bob asked, turning his head from left to right.

 The area was shrouded in darkness, and the acrid smell of rotten flesh filled the air.

 "What?" he questioned, his hoarse voice barely a whisper, narrowing his eyes as he reached to the blinking blue screen in front of his eyes. As he made contact, his fingers phased in, "It is virtual?"

 "Tutorial?" Bob asked, trying not to choke on the acrid odour. As his memories slowly returned, the image of how he died trying to return a woman's stolen purse flashed in his mind. He paused.

 'Does this mean I have woken up in some legendary game isekai?' Bob moved forward, running into a wall. "Ow." He cried, reaching his hand to touch his head, frowning deeply. After a while, there was silence, and he returned his gaze to the screen, "What is the use of this tutorial"

 He should just skip it and get on with living life in this new world. Besides, he was grounded in a lot of RPG games and knew how everything worked. He'd be fine. Bob, wore a confident expression as he mentally selected the option to skip, and the screen left him.

 Bob was shocked, a cold shiver licking up his spine. He was blind in the thick darkness and the thing that had spawned was nowhere to be seen. As Bob looked around, he frowned, 'Should I make a run for it? But, in which direction?'

 As he turned around to run, he tripped over something and was sent rolling to the ground. As he struggled to stand, something chomped on his ankle and pain ripped his mind apart, forcing him to scream in pain. Turning around, a blazing red screen winked at him,

 Bob, stood to his feet and bolted without a second thought. As he ran, he could finally hear it, a faint sound of something chasing after him. He waved his arms in front of his face frantically, hoping to hit a block with both arms first before his face.

 The wolf on the other did not face the same issues Bob did, as before he knew it, there was the sound of something leaping off the ground and a pain attacked his mind, right from his butt! Bob's head spun as he crashed into a wall, the dust greeting him with a smile.

As the pain forced his speed to slow, Bob turned around and kicked. His leg connected with the charging wolf, right in the face! The wolf was sent tumbling to the side, giving Bob the chance to run.

 As he ran, he finally found the light! There was a door, and Bob ran for the door with all his might. 'The door was definitely the exit out of this mess! I have played many games, and it was always the same!' Bob panted as he reached the door, dragging it open.

 A piercing cold wind blew, carrying a putrid smell that assaulted his nostrils. Before he knew it, a massive head shot out of the darkness, its mouth opening wide. All Bob saw in his final moment was rows and rows of spinning serrated teeth chomping down upon him whole.

 The darkness and acrid smell assaulted his nostrils again, and Bob opened his eyes with a start, his heart beating out of his chest and legs trembling. 'What the fuck was that?' he cursed in his heart, not daring to squeeze out even a squeak, turning left to right and looking around.

 'Stats… body issues… info… anything!' he cried, groping around in the darkness. He was terrified of that thing! The door out of this place did not lead him to light, but only more darkness! Was he in a trap of some sort? Who was funding this? Where are the lights?

 'Where am I?' he looked around, but breathing in this wicked odour made his brain function like a potato PC, and he struggled to get anything done. As he walked around, his heart continued to beat fiercely, his hair on ends, 'What about that wolf from earlier?'

 Bob stopped moving around aimlessly and then tried calming himself. In a sudden weird world with everything trying to kill you, he needed to be calm. After all, this was no worse than facing an enemy team full of campers in a shooter RPG.

 'Equipment…' he thought first. It would be crucial to understand how powerful your equipment is so you can draft the best strategy against the different situations!
