I laid back on the bed, which felt like a brick covered in fabric. I didn't turn on the TV, mostly because I didn't feel like it, but also the fact that I didn't know which channels were on and I was too lazy to even find it.
The place looked nice, no doubt about it, but it was a bit too white in my opinion. Just to be honest. Then, as I looked at the door, someone—all of a sudden—walked in, which was none other than Brie.
She took off her black jacket, revealing her same green shirt that was tied up to the side, with her baggy khaki pants that were now stained.
"Just got these two days before this mission," she said. "Unfortunate."
"Yeah, I guess," I said. "Haven't showered in days either." She nodded. "You're right about that. That's why I'm taking a shower."
