Later in the evening, another grand bonfire celebration was planned. Princess Shuangfu, now the bride, would be dressed in the splendid attire of a Qingdi concubine, standing alongside Prince Nuo Nuo to receive the blessings of the guests and partake in the festivities.
Princess Shuangfu had grown accustomed to this entirely distinct tradition, though it still felt somewhat foreign. Nevertheless, she managed to handle it with success.
Qiao Xuan instructed Bi Yun and the others to inform the Qingdi locals that Princess Shuangfu was shy. Understanding her intention, the Qingdi people responded with kind smiles and became more considerate toward the princess.
