Chapter 1: Ema's Older brother

[ Author's POV ] 

Haruame was sitting on the couch as he waited for the rest of the brothers to come down so he could greet them. He has met 5 of the 13 brothers so far and was quite excited to met the rest. However, Masaomi told him that 4 of the brothers were out. The five that weren't here at the moment were Fuuto, A Idol. Hikaru, A novelist. Louis, A hairdresser. And Natsume, The CEO of a gaming company. 

Haruame was quite to surprised to say the least, He wasn't expecting to have gained celebrities for siblings. Well, He could come up with some interesting stories if he could interview them at least once. {A/n: Ahem! You're going to use your brothers as writing material? Haru: Yeah, I'm a very creative writer and I won't use their real names anyway.} 

Anyway, Haruame snapped out of his daze when he heard some more footsteps coming down. He looked up and saw a young man that looked to be in his mid-twenties with Blond hair that was parted to the sides and was down to his shoulders. He had Amber eyes, He was quite tall. Probably the tallest out of the 13 brothers. So Haruame guessed that this was the brother that took pride in his height. 

Though Haruame was surprised to see that he was a Buddist monk. Haruame recalls his father telling him a little about this one, his name should be Kaname. Rintarou told Haruame not to be offended if he acts a little Perverted and flirty, He said that it's just his personality and that he hits on every girl that walks into his field of vision. Haruame found that quite funny and unintentionally let out a small chuckle that drew Kaname's attention away from Masaomi and the rest of his brothers and onto him. 

" Hello there, I'm Kaname. Masaomi told me that we had a guest that will be staying with us for a while. I'm assuming thats you " Kaname held his hand out form Haruame to shake. 

Haruame quickly cleared his throat and shook hands with Kaname, " Yes, I'm Haruame. It's nice to meet you. I'm Ema's brother and Rintarou's son " He introduced himself for the 5th time today. It was getting a bit irritating, having to introduce yourself over and over, nearly 13 times before everyone knows who you are. 

Haruame, however, felt the hand shaking his tighten for a split second before it went back to normal. Haruame slightly raised his eyebrow before he glanced up at Kaname, " Are you know? Ema never mentioned anything about a brother to us though. A strained relationship perhaps? " Kaname inquired, I let go of his hand and thought a bit before nodding his head. 

" Yes, Actually. I have come here to fix that and keep an eye on you all to make sure you don't hurt her or do anything thats not consensual. I will say this for the 5th time, I am not in love with Ema and I will never fall in love with Ema. I do hope you understand that and back off, I don't appreciate being glared at or threatened " Haruame glared at Kaname from behind his glasses that had whhite rims. 

Kaname slightly faltered, along with the rest of his brothers. He apologized for his behavior before he went to the kitchen to help Ukyo. The two identical boys were watching TV, Wataru was running around the living room and playing with his toys, and Masaomi was busy texting the rest of his siblings. 

{So thats 6/13, 7 more and my sister will have herself a full blown harem. Goodness, I never knew she had this much charm before. } 

Haruame was humming to himself in his head as he began typing up a new story that he just came up with. He was really focused that he didn't even hear the footsteps of another brother coming down the hall because his brother texted him. 

Subaru came down the stairs and began talking with Masaomi, who informed him that he has a new brother and pointed to Haruame. Subaru felt mixed emotions inside, He was glad to have another sibling but that also meant more competition for Ema's heart and this guy grew up with her so he would know her best. 

Subaru walked up to Haruame and tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. Haruame looked up and was quite surprised to suddenly see someone in front of him. He squeaked and backed up a bit from Subaru. 

{The 6 brothers' minds: Did he just squeak?} 

" Ahem! Hello there, I'm guessing that you're another brother. I'm Haruame, Its nice to meet you " Haruame introduced himself with a handshake, which subaru accepted. 

" I'm Subaru, Nice to meet you too " He shook Haruame's hand before he sat down next to him and pulled out his phone. Haruame felt slightly awkward but sat back up in a sitting position and saved his story. He decided to pay attention to who was coming next so he didn't almost have a heart attack again. 

Thankfully the next person came quickly, This brother had short gray straight hair and Hazel eyes. He was slim and pale like the rest of his brothers. He looked like the calmest brother out of the 7 brothers he met. He also didn't seem to like talking all that much unless it was his brothers. 

So Masaomi introduced him for him, " Haruame, This is Iori. Iori, this is Haruame. He is Ema's brother and will be staying with us for a while, " Masaomi introduced the two, who slightly bowed their heads towards each other. 

" Nice to meet you " Iori and Haruame said in unison. Haruame felt like this brother was probably the most calmest and collected of the brothers he has met. He felt like he would be a good match for Ema. 

" Hm, He is probably in the lead so far " Haruame mumbled under his breath, Most of the brothers didn't hear him but Iori did since he was standing close in front of him. He slightly blushed and moved to sit on the couch to watch TV too. 

{So thats 8 down for the count, I bet she has all 13 of them under her spell. Which would make them all straight and me gay and desperate. It's been a while since I've been in a relationship of any kind with a man. Lets hope I can endure this for a while until I'm sure Ema is safe here}  

Haruame let out an inaudible sigh as he memorized 8 brothers names. There was only 1 more brother that was still at the house so he should be meeting him soon. He began to wonder where his sister was when he heard some chatting and niggling coming from the stairs. He looked and saw his dear younger sister laughing with a red haired young boy that was her age. 

The two teenagers didn't even realize Haruame was here until they got to the bottom of the stairs. They both looked up and saw him sitting on the couch, smiling at them {Well, Ema to be exact}  Ema froze as soon as she saw her brother. 

" Ema, Hey. It's been a while, Hasn't it? " Haruame gently smiled at Ema before he stood up, {A/N: Finally, I was beginning to wonder when you were gonna get up. Haru: Their couch is comfy, What else can I say?} Surprising everyone with his height, Except for Masaomi, as he walked over to Ema and hugged her tightly. 

Yuusuke was confused on what was happening but he didn't hold back his expressions. Jealousy was basically written on his forehead as he stared at Ema and Haruame embracing. {A/N: Its very one-sided though. Haru: Shush, I'm trying to have a moment with my sister here. A/N: Well, you're gonna hate me for this then}. 

As Yuusuke was about to ask his brother what was happening, he heard Ema yell and push Haruame away. " What the he-Heck are you doing here?! Why are you here?! After all this time!? Why now?! " 

Haruame was just as shocked as the rest of the brothers. His sister has never yelled at him before, He couldn't form a stable sentence as he stared at his sister who was glaring at him with tears in her eyes. 

" E . . .  Ema? Wha  . . . What d-do you mean? I was busy with work, I had to move closer to where I was hired but I contacted you every day until you told me to stop. You told me that you didn't want me to call, text or see you ever again. Why are you getting angry at me? For simply giving you space, For simply trying to be a good older brother? If you wanted me to visit you then you should have told me, I can't understand unless you talk to me. I'll wait as long as you need but you need to talk to me for me to understand what you mean " Haruame told her as he clenched his hands into fists, He took a deep breath in and a deep breath out as he calmed himself down. 

Ema still looked upset but she didn't want to make a scene in front of the brothers so she too calmed down but she ignored Haruame and walked past him to sit down on the couch. Haruame sighed and went back to his spot on the couch, Masaomi tried to liven the tension a bit by introducing Yuusuke. 

" This is Yuusuke, he is the same age as Ema and they go to the same school. Yuusuke, this is Haruame, Ema's brother " Masaomi smiled as he introduced the two. Yuusuke just stared at Haruame, who was beginning to feel awkward being started at so intensely. 

" Are you really just siblings? " Yuusuke asked, making Ema and Haruame almost choke on their spit. Haruame suddenly had a dark aura powering out of him as he glared at Yuusuke, who slightly backed away out of fear. 

" I will say this again, for those who didn't here and for those who don't believe me. I.Am.Not.In.Love.With.Ema. She is my beloved sister and she always will be, I came here to keep an eye on you all boys since it seems like everyone in this room has some sorta crush on her. I am not against relationships with step-siblings as you are only related by your parents' marriage but I will noy tolerate anything that is not consensual towards her. Do you all understand? " Haruame spoke to them all and relaxed when he saw them all nod their heads. 

He sat back down before he sat straight back up, " Also, you don't have to worry about me falling for her because I'm Gay " He said before he leaned back on th ecouch and losed his eyes with his earbuds in and music playing. He didn't care for the brothers and his sisters reactions as they are probably the same as always, Shock, disgust, things like that.  

He just decided to rest his eyes until dinner was done, He, however, ended up falling asleep since he only got about 5 hours of sleep on the plane and he hadn't slept very well these past few days. He slowly slipped into a dreamless sleep once again. 

[A/N: Hope you Enjoyed this chapter. This is actually quite fun, I didn't realize that writing a fanfic could be this fun.

Again, The characters may act OOC because I haven't watched the anime in a while, I'm trying to watch it again but My mind has been corrupted with BL and now that's all I want to watch. So sorry again. Enjoy]
