Chapter 458 "The Boy and The Girl"

Facing Daisy's question, Sean threw another cookie into his mouth.

He said, "My intuition has always been correct, and she is much better than Capone."

Under the tree, the two think differently and look at each other awkwardly. Their childhood experience of growing up together allowed them to discover some clues about each other.

"Capone is hiding something from me..."

"Melanie is hiding something from me..."

Such a thought popped into their minds at the same time. However, they each think that the other is an ordinary person despite the fact that they will become wizards. After getting acquainted with Capone, Sean set a fixed time every day to help him remove the Obscurus from his body. The two became increasingly familiar. Sean had a good impression of Capone and really wanted to train him well.

However, Sean is not going to completely redo his training to him. This is the path he took. For a little boy like Capone, who has huge natural magic power and can suppress the Obscurus, Sean's way of learning things is not the right way.

After Daisy knew about it, she called Capone, Sean's apprentice.

Sean didn't admit it. If he becomes someone else's teacher, he will have to be responsible for his career. This is not the same as being a professor in a school. He is willing to be a guide, but he is not ready to be responsible for his whole life.

Under the tree, the two still talked. After that Christmas gift, their relationship flourished, but now they've run into trouble, which happens to be something Capone isn't good at dealing with.

Melanie's eyes were sad. She pursed her lips and asked, in a low voice, "In a few years or maybe ten years later, can we still be like this?"

Capone was startled, and he instinctively shrunk his neck, not daring to make a promise. But immediately, Sean's face appeared in front of his eyes.

"I think a sincere friend would maintain both of their relationship."

Thinking of Sean's encouragement, Capone took a deep breath. "Melanie, yes, we can always keep in touch, and we will always be best friends."

Capone's words made Melanie a little dizzy. After a firm answer, Melanie took a deep breath and directly grabbed Capone's hands.

"Capone, are you sure?"

She said with a smile, "Just kidding, we're still young."

Under the tree, the two had just made up their minds and looked at each other blankly. After a while, they realized that their hands were still holding each other. The two jumped back, their faces turning red.

Capone put his hands behind his back, his fingers twisted together as if the warmth of her palm still remained in his palm. Just when Capone was extremely confused, Melanie returned to normal first.

"Capone."

Her voice interrupted Capone's thoughts, and he looked up at her in a panic, "Yes? Also, I'm sorry, Melanie."

Melanie said, dissatisfied, "There's nothing to be sorry about."

"Huh?"

"Aren't we best friends?!"

"Ah, yes." Capone was taken aback for a moment, then smiled a little embarrassedly.

Melanie also showed a smile; she hesitated for a while, and her eyes became firm, "Capone, I have something to tell you as well. I've thought about it many times. When I tell you, will you think I'm a...freak?"

"Mr. Wallup, I said it on my own will, and it has nothing to do with him."

"Oh?" Sean cleared his throat, and when he was about to speak, Daisy's palm blocked his mouth.

"Don't you dare bully the children like this?" Feeling Daisy's soft palm, Sean whimpered a few times.

Melanie looked at this scene in shock and immediately realized that this girl was also a wizard. However, this girl looked a little familiar, much like the lady from the Potter family.

Daisy let go of her hand covering Sean's mouth, stood between Capone and Melanie, and said to the two, "He's just pranking both of you."

"Huh?" The two made a sound of doubt at the same time.

Sean spread his hands, cleared his throat, and said solemnly, "Mr. Roman, Ms. Locke, I appreciate your relationship much. At the same time, your behavior of acknowledging responsibility for each other is touching. However, there is just one thing."

Roman and Melanie looked at him. Sean took out two train tickets, "Both of you are wizards."

After a half-minute of silence, Capone and Melanie turned their heads to look at each other, and then their faces turned red. Sean clapped his hands, and two tickets flew into the hands of the two.

"That's it. I think you guys might need another 'long talk'. We'll be leaving; come find me at the Potter's house after your chat; the magic at the door is open to you."

Daisy waved her hands while not letting herself laugh too loudly, "Bye, remember to come to my house. Today is my birthday and my brother's birthday; you can have fun there later."

When the two walked away, Capone and Melanie were still looking at each other awkwardly. The warm sunlight shines on the faces of the two through the gaps in the leaves, and shadows sway back and forth between the eye sockets and nose wings.

Suddenly, the two laughed together.

"Mr. Wallop, I read that list you gave before. Do I need to show magic when buying those things?" On the patio, Capone asked Sean nervously.

Melanie nodded proudly, but the tension in her brows and eyes was clearly visible.

Yesterday, these two finally came to Potter's house. The two had never seen a wizard celebrating their birthday before and were dazzled by all kinds of magic.

Sean happened to be shopping for next school year supplies as well and happily accepted.

The bricks were moving, and a path gradually appeared in front of the two.
