Wedding Announcement

Shane and Wyonna went home.

After closing the door, Wyonna asked Shane, puzzled, "How could grandpa and grandma agree to let Emma marry Barry? We all know she is not nice."

Shane sat on the sofa, an arm around Wyonna's shoulders and explained, "We've been through a lot lately. I didn't find the time to explain to you about Emma and Nicholas. Now I can tell you all of it.

I haven't told you that is not because I don't take you as my family. What happened among them and me was my childhood nightmare. For a long time after that, I couldn't recover from it and was clinically depressed. And because of that, I began to have trouble going to sleep all night. This is why the last thing I want to do is to recall that memory."

What Shane said reminded Wyonna that she once went into a sulk about him for going out to see Nicholas at midnight.
