Chapter 73

Samantha.

Lying next to Alex, all I could think of was my conversation with Sylvester. The thought of spending 100 years without Alex scared me. My heart was troubled and I stayed awake all night.

Morning came slowly and it was time to get up for the day.

" Is there anything you want to tell me?" Alex asked kissing me and I shook my head. I didn't want to bother him, we already had a lot on our plate. The twins had stormed into our bedroom and started jumping on the bed.

It was a joy watching them play every morning.

" Mommy, mommy, wake up, wake up," they said as they jumped up and down the bed.

Alex brought me a glass of juice but I declined and got up to get ready for the day.

It was training day so I asked Rhonda to sit with the twins because Alex and I knew we would be busy all day. Rhonda came to sit with the twins while I trained.
