Chapter 56

Alex.

I couldn't believe what Hilda told me. I felt like strangling her. I couldn't believe she would keep such vital information from me all these years. It had almost been five years since my father was killed and she didn't deem it fit to tell me?

I held her throat and pinned her to the wall upon speaking.

"What do you know about my father's death?" I asked with so much rage.

My father dying was the beginning of all my problems. If he wasn't killed, I wouldn't have become Alpha. Sam would have still been in my life. I would have marked and married her and we would have been a proper family.

I made all the sacrifices to get revenge for my father's death. Something I had been unable to do. The thought of Hilda knowing who the culprit was or what happened and decided to keep it from me, burned.

I notice she was trying to speak so I relaxed my grip a little. Just enough so she could tell me exactly what she wanted to say.
