Search for Crow and Acceptance
TIME : 2:34PM
LOCATION : SOMEWHERE AROUND SOUTHERN SIDE OF CALOS CITY.
"We are heading to the coordinates given to us by the detectives that were working on Crow's case."
Clark says into the receiver.
"OK then, you guys check it out and report whatever you find back to me, be careful out there."
Yakob replies at the other end.
"Yes sir, I'll be hanging up now."
Clark says after which the line goes dead.
"So it's just a recon mission, huh."
Tara remarks as she turns at an intersection.
"Yep. Crow's last seen was at the coordinates the detectives gave us, he would must likely have moved."
Clark replies as he goes through the file in his hand.
"I wonder what we will encounter when we get there."
Tara comments passively.
"Nothing good that's for sure, let's just keep an open mind… we don't know what's in store for us at this location."
Clark reassures after which he closes the file and drops it beside him.
TIME : 9:02AM
LOCATION : YELLOW MOON COFFEE SHOP.
Sai and Ilara are dressed in a more refined attire and seem to be awaiting company.
Their coffee is brimming with steam indicating it had just been ordered with muffins beside each cup.
The shop seems more lively than the last time with more customers coming in and ordering after going through the menu. The waiters seem to have their hands full with the work.
Sai takes notice of Yakob walking in and taps Ilara who had gotten a bit tired of waiting.
"You're here."
Ilara announces as Yakob takes his seat with them.
"Yes. Sorry I'm a bit late, I had some issues to take care of."
Yakob replies with a calm.
He signals to a waiter to take his order.
"Does this issue have anything to do with Crow??"
Sai asks inquisitively.
"Oh… you seem to have done your homework, yes it has to do with Crow…"
Yakob replies with a smirk after which he gives his order to the waiter.
"So what's the latest on his case??"
Ilara chips in.
"Well we are still looking for him, he's a slippery one… I must warn you both to stay safe has he might have a bone to pick with the both of you."
Yakob warns with a certain level of concern.
"Don't worry about us, we'll manage."
Sai responds after which he takes a bite into his muffin.
Yakob receives his cup of hot coffee from the waiter and sets it down after which he samples both detectives with his eyes.
"So why have you called me here??... Made up your minds yet??"
Ilara and Sai share knowing looks with each other before looking back at Yakob.
"Yeah we wanna take part in the exams."
Sai replies.
"Splendid. I'll be sending your information to the D.O.D then."
Yakob says with a smile.
"But we have a request."
Ilara cuts in.
"Hmm, what's that??"
Yakob asks putting up a brow.
"We would like for you to train us. We don't know what kind of people would be taking part in the exams but we can assume that they will be strong… We won't stand a chance in our current form, we need to get stronger."
Sai replies.
"Well you do have a solid point there… OK then I'll try my best to train you but you'll still need a third member."
Yakob instructs.
"Yeah sure don't worry about that. We already have that covered."
Ilara reveals.
"Humph…"
Sai grumbled silently.
"hmm that was fast… OK then, we'll start training in a week's time, be ready by then."
Yakob instructs with a stern face.
"That will be fine. We'll be taking our leave now if you don't mind."
Ilara announces after which she and Sai and rise up and leave the shop.
"Good lads."
Yakob mutters with a smile...….
TIME : 6:18PM
LOCATION : SOUTHSIDE.
Tara and Clark seem to have been busy has the place seems to be in a mess.
"Assholes. How dare you guys come in here and mess up the place??"
A random thug says with a bloodied nose while trying to crawl away.
"Oh… we only came to ask some questions, you guys were the ones that decided to attack without provocation."
Clark replies as he goes ahead to step on the thug's hand drawing screams out of him.
"Clark let him go, we won't find anything on Crow here. He seems to have covered up his tracks well."
Tara remarks with a disappointment.
"Alright then, let's look elsewhere…. He couldn't have disappeared just like that."
Clark replies after which he takes his feet off the thug's hand and walks away from the scene with Tara.
