Chapter 17: Dance News from Francie

“What shopping?” Marielle asked. “I’m not aware of anything that I need to buy.”

“I want us to go window shopping later on,” Francie stated in a light-hearted tone.

“Oh, what for?” Marielle asked. “What do you have to buy?” she asked with a smile.

“I don’t need anything myself, but this is not for our private use. It’s for a new production,” Francie responded in a sing-song manner.

“What new production?” Marie asked, frowning in confusion.

“It’s actually under wraps at the moment, so you shouldn’t share this with anyone,” Francie cautioned. “The only reason that I know about it already is because I have an extra-long preparation for the show,” he added in a self-confident tone.

“I have a long solo routine,” he added.

“Are you talking about the show that Kiara was talking about last night?” Marielle asked as she began to pull back her bed covers with one hand while holding onto the cell phone in her other hand.
