Inside Xue Long's mind Golden Dragon King Martial Spirit grabbed the tiger's mouth with both of its clawed hands and started to pull the jaws apart.
Slowly severing the entire mouth apart. It was a simple and brutal method to end the nuisance which had the devouring ability.
It wanted to 'eat', so he is giving a first-class ticket to the meal it wanted so much.
Eventually, the Golden Dragon King has destroyed the Tiger's remnant consciousness and the Fourth Prince can focus on absorbing the ring.

"Well, he was successful. Youngest Spirit Sage in Douluo Continent." Snake Lance Douluo said with quite a proud tone as he saw the seventh ring appear next to the six others behind the Prince. This one while had that golden light around it, there was still that smoky black miasma around it.
"Not for long. Did you sense how much his Spirit Energy increased? Evil DevilGod Tiger gave quite a boost in cultivation and with him not getting his ring for months has leapfrog his cultivation at least halfway to Spirit Douluo." Dugu Bo said that as he sensed how rapidly the prince's cultivation has been increasing!
Eventually, Xue Long opened his eyes and slowly stood up. He inspected himself for a bit.
A few moments later golden aura surrounded him and he unleashed his spirit energy.
His power roared to life as he sensed how much pressure it is generating.
"This should be enough." He said that to himself as he stopped channelling his energy and then looked at the corpse of the beast.
It was still there.
"Spirit bone huh…"
He walked over and used his sword to cut open the carcass more and pulled what looked like wings.
"It is said that Evil DevilGod Tiger wings can make one fly so fast that it appears like he is teleporting." Snake Lance Douluo said as he saw what kind of spirit bone it was.
"I see… fascinating loot I got this time." He said that as he inspected the wings.
"You already have wings but I believe they could merge and form something completely different." Dugu Bo said that as he had thoughtful look.
"I suppose it would. Their form is similar to my ones. So let's try it out."
Such casual comments have made the pair of Titled Douluo somewhat freaked out. Those are external bones! Not only they are extremely rare but same time they are permanently attached to their bodies!
You can just 'try' and 'let's see'.
"My Prince you don't just try them out. You either fuse with them or not! These are 80 thousand-year-old bones! Extremely rare and precious! If you don't want them Spirit Hall will pay you an enormous amount of gold or any other resources!" Snake Lance Douluo said that with a serious tone.
"He is right. Spirit Bones are extremely precious, especially the external spirit bones." Dugu Bo chipped in from the side.
"Right. Then let's fuse with it."
Seeing how serious those two were Xue Long decided to fuse with these wings, he wants to see if his speed will increase as they said!
Sure enough, he sit down on the ground and started the process of fusing with the external bone.

Around an hour later it was done. When the Fourth Prince stood up pair of draconic/demonic dull gold wings with a black undertone manifested behind him.
That moment a small frown appeared on his face. He can sense that the control is not perfect. This means he will need to dedicate time to train in control of these new wings.
Though, first, he decided to test them out. With a single beat of his wings, he was gone and appeared several metres in the sky.
"Not bad. The way they work is not normal they use some sort of energy or laws. It could be wind or even space." Xue Long said that with a curious tone. Before a smirk appeared on his face.
Did he just get a shortcut to the laws with the tiger he just slayed?
While the ring he absorbed gave him the true body skill which all Seventh rings do. But he got that little bit of extra with the nucleus and the spirit bone from this kill!

'Now to make that core and get rings for girls and the bird for Ke'er and I am all set!'
With another beat of the new wings, he appeared in his previous position.
"It appears the legends you said are true." Xue Long said that as his wings have disappeared.
"Since we have your ring sorted out we should proceed with the next hunt?" Dugu Bo asked that with crossed arms.
"Yes. You girls can proceed I still need to do something."

"Long! We not going to do this separately!" The blonde angel girl walked over and with a huff said that to him.
*Sigh*
"You do know that this can take me a day or even two days. You going to waste time."
Even after saying that his fiance didn't budge.
"Fine. Then stay. Pull out the tents. Because this is going to take time." As he said that he looked around for a good place to sit.
"...What is it you going to do for that long?" Qian Renxue asked curiously. She knows from experience that he doesn't do anything which can be considered wasteful.
Even his 'wasteful' time spent in the academy is not wasteful at all. He still does his training. He still trains his martial arts he even gets inspiration from watching other people's Martial Spirits and Spirit Rings abilities.

"Spirit beast or human can form them when their power reaches a certain point. One of these will increase the amount of Spirit Energy I release and regenerate. On top of it all one can give it an attribute as well.
Making me generally simply stronger."
Hearing that. The pair of Titled Douluo's got their attention peaked. Since a Spirit Sage can do it they should be able to do this as well!? Right?
"Yes, you two could do it. Only if you fail you might explode. So be careful."
"...I might try it when I see how you do it." Snake Lance Douluo said that as he showed a fake smile.
"I agree with him. I will do that as well when I see how you do it." The green-haired Poison Douluo said with his fake smile as well.
"Wait! Is it truly safe!?" The blonde angel girl said that with a nervous tone.
"I been practising since I had my third ring. It's easier for me since I've been using the basis of Heaven and Earth Energy." After hearing his explanation Qian Renxue slightly calmed down.
Though she was still nervous. The risk of explosion tends to do that.

Since the group didn't want to split up a small camp was set up. The maid who were trained in pretty much any sort of art quickly showed how good they were in setting up camp and making some simple food.
Though this was short-lived as Xue Long unleashed his Domain and the pair of Titled Douluo's didn't want to waste this opportunity and decided to cultivate. While the girls thought it will be a good time to train their Lotus Meditation since everyone was doing something!
While Xue Long he started to condense three energies into a single spot. Which will be his first Spirit Core.
Using the basis of how both Heaven and Earth energies descend and converge in a single point he started to create the core.
As time progressed a ball of energy started to form between his hands. Since he was using the standing meditation form his palm were facing each other and between them was the growing core.
Slowly as it was growing in size it eventually reached the size that it can be merged with his body.
The whole process lasted for a day and one could say this was the longest he ever spend doing a single thing.
"So that's a Spirit Core. It looks similar to the Spirit Beast nucleus."
"Interesting concept, with such core a Spirit Master one could fight longer and one could deliver more damage through their Spirit Ring abilities." Dugu Bo said that with crossed arms. This whole thing is ingenious and he wonders where the little monster has picked this up from.
As the pair were talking the maids and blonde angel girl were watching with bated breath as the most difficult part is going to be next as they know this is where he is going to fuse with it!
And so they watched nerviously how he was doing it.
5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, eventually around when hour passed they saw him getting better. He was no longer twitching from pain which they could see him going through…
Then… out of nowhere, they saw his Martial Spirit, appear behind him!
"Something is wrong!" Qian Renxue jumped right on her feet as she saw the Golden Dragon King appear!
Her instincts were telling her that something is about to happen! Xue Long would not make his Martial Spirit simply appear like this!
"Hmm? Saintess what are you—" Snake Lance was confused about the Saintess behaviour but then they saw they saw Golden Dragon King coil around the Prince and turn into golden particles and enter his body…
The next moment gust of wind exploded from the prince's body. Golden-red aura surrounded him and he has merged with his martial Spirit. However, this merger was more… feral, animalistic, sharper draconic features. More horns appeared on his head.
"...Second Martial Spirit awakening?" Dugu Bo's eyes were wide when he said that.
What kind of ridiculous Martial Spirit is this!? It was already a top-class thing when it first awoke! With innate Rank at 20! Now from the looks of it… it had a second awakening!
Though Na'er looked at this with narrowed eyes.
'No, it's not Second Spirit Awakening. It's better or worse… the core my prince formed just turned into Golden Dragon King core. It appears it was put in the Martial Spirit, the moment a regular core was created the martial Spirit reworked it into the Golden Dragon King core.
Truly the Original Golden Dragon King was a genius when he did this. Only truly worthy will be able to Inherit its true power.' Na'er thought about this with a smile, a smile which was short-lived as she heard the loud Dragon roar escape from her prince.
It was an angry one!
***Roar***
Slowly Xue Long stood up and turned around towards the two Titled Douluo. The pair quickly noticed that the prince's eyes were pure red and glowing with anger and malice. It's as if he lost control, completely.
As they were about to get ready to face him. Which they think can be a very dangerous battle. The Fourth Prince moved.
Not the way they predicted! As the prince has slipped! Slipped! Landing face first into the ground!
The pair of Titled Douluo's were confused as hell! This is the kid who is a martial maniac! Even if the reason is gone the body itself is trained to be a fighting machine! How did he slip!?
Though sure enough. What they saw blew their minds!
Prince lifted his head and slammed into the ground! Without anyone touching him!
"T-This… what is going on?"
"Even… when anger took over he is fighting it back?"
Sure enough, Qian Renxue's guess was right as they saw him repeatedly slam his head into the ground and then grab his head with both hands.
Start screaming before, a pillar of light exploded from his body and rushed into the sky.
Slowly forming into a huge Ghostly Lotus Flower. Which was getting more and more real!
The moment it fully formed, it started to open up and release golden particles to the ground where the struggling Fourth Prince was standing.
The moment these particles touched the body of Xue Long, he stopped struggling and his red eyes turned pure gold and a cocoon of gold started to envelop him.
"...I-I think he had a breakthrough to the next stage of Lotus Meditation!" The blonde said with realisation. She noticed the pattern in the cultivation of this meditation!
Since the flower became solid it should have broken to the next stage!
