In the end, what was his motive?

(Hazel POV)

Even after seeing everything through my own eyes and witnessing everything firsthand, I am unable to make anything out of it. It seems that my mind still cannot keep up with master. His thinking is just too difficult me to understand.

I even asked for opinions from everyone. Seems that they have the same opinion as me.

We are all back to the cabin. Everyone has taken a seat. We have made a circle. It's easier to look at everyone this way. The newborn planet spirit is also seated with us.

"And I have decided what to name her? Her name shall be Gaia." (Master)

Wasn't Gaia this planet's name? Why is he naming her that?

"Master, I believe that name already belonged to someone else." (Amaryllis)

"I know what you are implying. But you know, she is technically the same spirit." (Master)

Master said something that would have been pretty shocking if it was the me from before. However, I too have witnessed and caused some outrageous occurrences. I won't be surprised that easily.

That goes for everyone here. Even the fainting Fay has become an old joke. Because she herself has become something that human common sense can't judge.

"Gaia was sick due to her own children. I just got rid of her children who were like parasites, leeching off of their mother! And getting rid of them, I absorbed Gaia.

But the planet which was dwindling had completely died. I had to purify Gaia for quite a while before turning her into a core. The end result was positive.

She regained her youth and power. She is back to the way she should have been in the first place. I guess, her taste in men wasn't very good.

Putting that aside, Gaia, do you remember me?" (Master)

He gave us another long explanation which was not very hard to follow. Because, we have all witnessed similar things. It comes with experience.

"Am I supposed to remember you, human?" (Gaia)

At first, she was very confused. However, she has gotten used to her powers probably. Now, she has a very commanding demeanor.

"It seems that your personality is there. That's a relief. I wonder, how did you get deceived by Ouranos in the first place? That doesn't matter. That was the old you. How do you feel after rebirth?" (Master)

"Not bad. But my vessel is too small." (Gaia)

"That's how it's supposed to be. Learn and grow. Growth should be part of spirit. Everything can grow. Grow up and manage this planet well." (Master)

"Hmph." (Gaia)

She just made a huffing sound and disappeared.

"That girl. Well, she should be connected to the Akashik records. Let's give her some time to relax and understand everything." (Master)

He relaxed on his chair. I look at the others and signal them. It's the best opportunity.

"Honey, you know what is coming next, right?" (Aura)

"I know. Just go easy on me. I may not look like it, I am currently 1 million years old. Plus or minus a few hundred years." (Master)

"That's pretty old. How are you that old? You disappeared only 10 thousand years ago." (Aura)

"Well, when I arrived at this planet, only ruins were left. I had to clear that accursed dungeon and drive out the leeches. Then, to fix the environment, I sped up the time and let the planet heal itself while I supplied it with my energy.

That's when I became the planet spirit stand in. And after that I kinda forcefully finished the planet and made it habitable so life could thrive. That wasn't even half of it. About 50 thousand years ago when life had just begun, I sped up the evolution process.

Then when complex animals were born, I took a rest. That's when I got the idea of splitting myself. I decided to split my feminine part from me which brought Aylin.

Technically she is me. But she has had sentience for 35 thousand years. She has become a unique entity. And my body had deteriorated quite a bit. It was odd calling me father so she just called me grandpa.

That's how everything happened. I aged probably more than a million years and this happened. All that is left for me to do now is just retirement." (Master)

He said and took a sip from his cup. He gave all of us his herb tea. Incidentally, Aylin is still typing away on her virtual keyboard.

I am pretty shocked to hear all of that. I guess everyone is the same as me. This all sounds so outrageous that I want to reject everything but master does not joke very often.

"By the way, master, what do you mean by retirement?" (Aera)

"As it sounds. I will just retire and go to Ilosile. It's a nice place. I visited it a few times and that was a place I could spend my time in." (Master)

I have no idea what this Ilosile place is. But Amaryllis made a grim face.

"No need to be so sad. Besides, someone is coming." (Master)

Master looks at the chair where Gaia was sitting. There is someone sitting on that chair. And she is not Gaia. She has mercury hair which is contrasts Gaia's black hair. Her stature is not bigger than Gaia though.

She is a well known figure among us.

"It has been a while. What should I call you?" (Master)

"Call me whatever you like. It's your choice."

"Then everyone, I believe you all have met her. Just call her Samantha for the moment." (Master)

I guess I should call her Samantha and not System.

"Hazel, what did I say? This man does the exact opposite of everyone's expectations." (Samantha)

"That's true. Your tip came in handy. Thank you for that."

I give her my thanks. Because I wouldn't have considered searching here if not for her.

"So you tipped her on my location. I knew that you might be keeping watch on me. Anyway, why have you chosen to show yourself after so long?" (Master)

"Because I cannot allow you to go to Ilosile." (Samantha)

"Why? I have already gotten permission from the administrator." (Master)

"And I have revoked your permission. You cannot leave. That is final." (Samantha)

Whenever she frowns like that, master just gives in. And this time is no different than usual. Because, he is about to give up.

"By the way master, when I said that I hadn't married anyone, why did you look so disappointed?"

I asked what was bugging me. That kinda irked me.

"Well, I thought that after so many years, you all would have just forgotten me and moved on. It seems that you haven't and you are still waiting for me." (Master)

"Clive, just face your fears rather than running away from it. You know that, don't you?" (Samantha)

"I tried. But I didn't have a concrete plan. Just a haphazard vision which landed us here." (Master)

"If you understand that, then marry us." (Fay)

That took me by shock. She has been silent all this time. When she opened her mouth, she dropped a major suggestion.

"You all okay with that. I mean, Aura does claim to be my wife. I don't mind marrying you all minus Eden. No way I am marrying my daughter." (Master)

And he gave up rather easily. Eden did not voice is objection and it was heading towards a happy ending.

But I saw a smirk on Aylin's face. What was that about?

But what did master try to achieve by doing this? That would be mystery at least to me.

I am just glad that I have finished this slump. I hope the normal series can go on normally. Next time in the normal series would be separate heroine chapter. First is Hazel. I don’t know what to write. Also working on detailed character profile. I hope the story and my mood improves.
