Conquer the Stomach

"Ding, you've arrived. Thank you for flying with us." The voice said over the intercom in my room. During the short flight time, I managed to consolidate my recent increase in cultivation. Since I don't have Lu Ze's red orbs, my foundation isn't flawless. Fortunately, great-grandpa's origin power is very compatible with me and gave me a steady advancement.

I stepped outside the ship and saw the scenery of the familiar planet. The school was breathtaking and filled with nostalgic memories. The Federal University and the Emperor Capital Academy were the top two universities of the human race and were situated right next to each other.

As I walked forward, people gave me glances and seemed to recognize me. However, I didn't hear anything they said because I am so nervous and excited to see Lu Ze again. My stomach churned and my heart raced. Eventually, I encountered Bo Yibo again.

He stood on the arena platform seemingly waiting for someone. This must be fate. I encountered him last time as well. He was waiting for Lu Ze so he could challenge him and then earn money from their fight. Honestly, it was brilliant and it gave Lu Ze a lot of resources, so I didn't want to mess with the upcoming challenge between them.

"Hello senior schoolmate, are you waiting for someone?" I asked politely.

"Ah, hello junior schoolmate. You are Lin Ling, correct? That Crazed Swordsman Young Duke's younger sister?"

My eyebrow twitched and I remembered why I fought this guy last time. However, since I was much stronger than before, I didn't want to ruin his challenge to Lu Ze later, so I nodded.

"I'm waiting for Lu Ze to arrive. I want to challenge him." He said with a bright smile. There almost seemed to be dollar signs in his eyes, but it was probably just my misperception.

After a waiting a bit longer, my anxiety escalated. Although I am very mentally strong, images of Lu Ze getting badly beaten and the deaths of my loved ones kept flashing in my mind. The trauma was difficult to deal with regardless of how strong my mind is.

However, it all washed away when I glimpsed his figure in the crowd ahead. I activated my God Art and saw the familiar chi signature of Lu Ze when he was younger. My walls broke down instantly and I shot forward with too much strength.

People noticed and thought that someone was being attacked. Lu Ze noticed my approach and he had one of his stupid faces of complete confusion. He seemed to be preparing for a fight, but noticed I didn't mobilize any chi so he let me get right up to him.

To everyone's surprise, mine included, I immediately hugged him.

"Oh, their relationship is a lot better than I thought."

"I told you they were dating."

"Dammit, I got lowered to ordinary class and I have to eat dog food? What a shitty day."

I ignored all of the people talking around us and looked up at Lu Ze with longing.

"Ze, I missed you…" But it seemed like he didn't hear me because his face was frozen in a dumb expression. I let go and he finally realized what happened.

"Lin Ling, you have really soft breasts!" He said shamelessly. I turned red and hit him over the head for being so dumb and shameless! "I was going to let you off, but I guess I'll have to beat you up after all!"

"Wait, Lin Ling, you must have misheard me! I definitely didn't say what you think I said." I rolled my eyes and walked toward the stage.

"Hold on junior schoolmate Lin Ling. I was here first, so I get to challenge junior schoolmate Lu Ze." Bo Yibo called out.

"Whatever." I replied and crossed my arms. I didn't really pay attention to the challenge since it was the same as the original timeline. Bo Yibo a third-year student with the strength of around 80 apertures wanted to challenge Lu Ze to receiving his attacks in a gauntlet.

He would offer 5000 academy credits for each consecutive attack with increasing strength, and if Lu Ze managed to get through all ten attacks, he would get an additional 10,000 academy credits. This was a good deal for him, since it was essentially free money. However, the real money maker comes later when Bo Yibo posts their fight with a view-cost.

"Lin Ling, good to see you again. I didn't realize you and Ze were already together…" Ye Mu and his group came over. Hearing what he said, the others in his group expected him to get kicked into a nearby lake, but instead, I simply blushed and looked away.

"No way, sister Ling, its true?" Her previous roommates Xuan Yuqi, Tianyuan Qianhua, and Jessica all gasped in surprise. Nangong Jing came over to greet Lin Ling and overheard the situation.

"You seem different. You have a powerful aura." She commented.

"Big sister Jing… I…" I couldn't put to words my emotions. Seeing the turmoil in me, she walked over and gently pat my head.

"Good work." Nangong Jing was a good teacher despite being an alcoholic. She always treated me nicely. I took in a deep breath and nodded.

"Big sister Jing, I'm back." She smiled and nodded toward me.

"So, what do you think of Ze's power? Can you beat him?" She teased. However, before I could reply, Lu Ze started his ridiculous act that made everyone who knew him embarrassed.

"Lu Ze, why aren't you down yet?" Bo Yibo asked.

"I accidentally awakened a body god art during the critical moment just now… I really didn't do it intentionally. Senior, you must believe me! I will definitely collapse in the next wave!" Lu Ze said after a two second pause. I could tell he was panicking inside since his act was falling apart.

Everyone that knew him turned away and stepped back into the crowd so they wouldn't be recognized. It was a very awkward moment.

"Senior, shall we continue?" Lu Ze asked expectantly.

"I'm fine, but are your injuries fine?" Bo Yibo responded with doubt all over his face.

"I can go for another wave. See, even teacher Nangong Jing isn't stopping us. It's fine." Lu Ze said while shaking his head.

"Since that's the case, I won't hold back!"

Another shockwave came out and Lu Ze waved back and forth while coughing a lot. The crowd was baffled. I put my hand on my head and started to remember just how shameful this whole spectacle was. I'll make sure to thoroughly beat him up.

The silly act ended with Lu Ze fighting with Bo Yibo for real. Although, rather than a fight, it was more of a one-sided slaughter. Lu Ze activated his Wings of the Wind and beat Bo Yibo in one move. Although he was insufferable, he did look handsome when he was fighting.

After the battle ended, Lu Ze came back to our group and looked awkwardly at me.

"Hey, Lin Ling, how about we don't fight? I'm exhausted from that battle…" I could tell he was trying to be considerate of me since he thinks he is way stronger, but I just smiled at him.

"How about we compete in a different way? Whoever goes higher in the Martial Tower gets to order the other person to do any one thing."

His eyes flashed with excitement and he looked down at my breasts. I knew exactly what this pervert thought in that moment and I couldn't help but want to hit him over the head. However, Nangong Jing beat me to it.

"What were you thinking just now? Looks like your head isn't clear from all that acting. How about I beat you until it clears up?" She said while holding Lu Ze in an arm lock.

"O' glorious and beautiful teacher Nangong Jing, your name is synonymous with intelligence, please let me off!" I giggled as I reminisced. Lu Ze often did this during their adventures together.

"Ze, stop playing around. Let's go get our residencies." I walked forward and grabbed him by the arm. He followed without complaint and the other first years followed as well. Some were still shocked by how strong Lu Ze was, but if they knew I could beat him, they would probably explode.

"First place—Lu Ze chooses first." He picked the same house as he did in the original, so I naturally chose the house right next to his since I was second to pick. Lu Ze and I went into his house together and looked around. We stopped in front of the kitchen, and I could sense Lu Ze about to ask me something.

"Ze, how about I cook? I haven't eaten anything today." Lu Ze is a big foodie, so if I want him to accept my feelings early, I need to conquer his stomach.

"Lin Ling, you're an angel…" He looked at me like I was his savior. This foodie was too extreme! But I happily went into the kitchen and smiled mischievously.

'Hmph, I cooked so much for you in our previous life, there's no way you can resist!'
