[3rd POV]
Looking over the quests, Gwen was contemplating whether or not she wanted to do one of the quests right now or not. The ones that really interested her more than any of them, was the Kaguya quest and the Thanos one.
Why? Because she could bring items back with her from their worlds. Meaning, she could take the infinity stones back with her. Or even their bodies once she kills them, which means, that once she gets back to the RWBY world and get's her powers back, she could then absorb their bodies and gain a huge burst of power.
The real questions as whether or not she wanted to absorb Thanos and gain the infinity stones, or absorb Kaguya and gain a massive boost in chakra. She wouldn't be able to use the infinity stones due to them not working outside of their native universe, which was a part of why Gwen even contemplated going with Kaguya.
Kaguya would give her Otsutsuki blood, the Rinne Sharingan, massive boosts in chakra, and a variety of other abilities. While absorbing Thanos would give her more physical strength and durability and that's about it. But, she would gain the Infinity Stones, and should she figure out how to sever the connection to their native universe, she'd have literal personifications of 5 different concepts, this being Reality, Space, Time, Power, and Soul.
Soul was the one she was most interested in, entirely because of it's potential reaction to her own soul, and the strength it could give her.
Kaguya would also be a harder fight for her, due to her having limited abilities against her, while Thanos she'd have tons more abilities to utilize, and a lot of her immortality and durability still. Not to mention the aid of the Avengers, should she need it. That, and she'd still have her adamantium bones, which would be able to cut the man with ease, as even God's weren't immune to her adamantium bones and their sharpness.
'Should I? I mean, killing Thanos won't be too difficult as long as I either get the jump on him, or rip that gauntlet off his hand, and that is easy enough if I just cut the thing off with my claws. Kaguya...should probably wait until the future' Gwen thought, wondering what she should do. As Thanos was...not really too much of a threat to her, as long as she played it smart.
'And it's not like I'd be gone for more than an instant. And beating Thanos shouldn't take too long either. But...let's hold off for a couple of days, and then I'll do the Thanos quest' Gwen thought, deciding to wait for a little while before going in and defeating the mad titan. Mostly so she could go to school for a couple of days before doing something potentially life threatening.
Seeing as she had made her decision, Gwen soon began to lay back, as her eyes slowly began to close, as sleep overtook her.

In the next morning, after getting ready, the group was on their way to their first class, which was taught by a man named "Professor Port" who taught the Grimm studies class. He was also a rather...eccentric man, and one that Gwen found to be amusing when she watched the show originally.
Walking into the class, the group sat as a short grey haired man made himself known. This was Professor Port, the teacher of the class.
And soon after teams RWBY and JNPR soon walked in, right when the bell was about to ring, very nearly late. Gwen looked to them with an amused smile, which Ruby noticed and looked embarrassed from, before the teacher began to speak.
"Monsters, deeeemons, prowlers of the night. Yes, the creatures of grimm have many names. But I merely refer to them as prey. And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy. Now, as I was saying, Vale as well as the other 3 kingdoms are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world, our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces. And that, is where we come in. Huntsmen, Huntresses, individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves" Professor Port started, before continuing.
""From what?" you ask, why, the very world! That is what you are training to become. But first, a story, a tale of a young handsome man. Me! When I was a boy-" After hearing those words Gwen sighed and just cut him out, ignoring the rest, as she wasn't about to listen to him rattle about himself, nor did she care enough to.
'I wonder what sort of food they've got at the cafeteria here? Hopefully something decent, otherwise I'll have to cook again like in the last world' Gwen thought with a sigh, while noticing Ruby out of the corner of her eye, balancing a book and various other objects on top of a pencil...somehow.
'Hmm, wonder if I could get away with absorbing a grimm pool soon? I wanna see what sort of power absorbing one of them will net me. Probably nothing crazy, but it might surprise me' Gwen thought, continuing to ignore the teacher as Korra was practically asleep, Artemis's eyebrow was twitching furiously, Raven was listening closely, and M'gann was just confused on the point of this.
Thankfully the story didn't last much longer, as Professor Port finished.
"The moral of the story? A true huntsmen must be honorable, a true huntsman must be dependable, a true huntsmen must be strategic, well educated, and wise. So who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" Professor Port asked, and almost immediately a hand was raised.
"I do sir!" Weiss said, irritation in her tone from Ruby who had been messing around while Port was going on his little story.
"Well then, let's find out. Step forward, and face your opponent" Port said, as Weiss got to her feet and walked to the front of the large room, where a cage was, and within the cage was a grimm, a boarbatusk, a boar like grimm, as it's name suggested.
"Let the match, begin!" Port said, as the cage flew open, and the boar like grimm charged at Weiss.
Gwen watched Weiss fight the grimm, underwhelmed as she struggled to defeat the creature. It's weak spot was under it's belly, but Weiss was ignoring the help that Ruby was trying to give her, even yelling at the girl when she offered her advice. Leading to Ruby looking like she was about to cry, and an irritated Gwen who wasn't a fan of Weiss and her attitude.
Eventually Weiss killed the creature, but only after immense difficulty and eventually taking Ruby's advice.
"Bravo! Bravo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress in training! I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today, be sure to cover the assigned readings, and, stay vigilant! Class dismissed!" Port said, as Weiss marched off, anger on her face.
Watching her march off, Gwen and the girls looked at her with unamused looks.
"She's a brat, isn't she?" Korra asked Gwen, who looked at her, and replied.
"Yep...and I have a feeling she's going to be very annoying"
