Spider-X Chapter 3

Opening scene Spider-Man is web swinging away from the Brotherhood trying to put as much distance as he can between him, Eric, and his children. "What is with these mind controlling extremist mutants, my powers compared to theirs aren't even that good." Just as I finished saying that my Spider-sense started flaring. I looked behind me and saw an SUV flying at me. I quickly dodged and changed directions to avoid impact when I see the people below me are about to get hit. "Shit!" I launch several webs at the car, web lines stick from nearby buildings to the SUV, stopping it before it reaches the ground. I see it was about to hit a woman walking with her dog. I land on the hood of the car and scream "Everybody run mutant terrorists are trying to kill us all!" This causes panic and everyone flees the streets screaming parents grab children and people speed off in their cars.

"I take offense to that remark, we are not terrorists," Said Eric.

"You threw an SUV at me, in a crowded street, because I didn't join you what else would I call you?"

"Justified," said Eric.

"You are out of your mind if you think your actions are anything other than insane." I attempt to web Eric again but just as I raise my wrist they start to hurt like they are being crushed.

"You can't possibly win in a fight against me child, either join me or die." Said Eric.

Damnit what do I do, he's right I can't win. What if he starts to kill people just because I said no, he's probably crazy enough to do it? I need to buy some time to think.

I rip my web shooters off my wrists breaking them. They leave deep bruises on my wrists "What do you need me for, you and your kids are so much stronger than I am I wouldn't be of any help to you" Said Spider-Man.

"That's where you are wrong for my vision of the world to succeed all mutants must be united to rise against our human oppressors," Said Eric. Eric started to float down to me when a beam of red light came from behind him and struck him in the back. I jump off the car to get some distance from Eric and whoever this new mutant is. Without my web shooters and the power difference between us, I should probably run while Eric's distracted.

"You're through Magneto," said the man with the red visor "X-Men Formation Omega" just then the X-Men appeared out of nowhere ready to fight. The young brown haired girl and the blue animal man helped civilians while the rest got ready to fight Eric. I could only stand to the side and watch this insane battle. The red-headed woman from earlier seemed to be able to go toe to toe with Eric they were both launching debris at each other while the man with the red visor shouted commands and launched lasers from his eyes to distract Eric while the redhead finished him off. Just as the X-Men were about to win a blur shoot through them and seemed to knock everyone off their feet except for the redhead who was flying at the time. Crap its Pietro. Eric and his children regrouped and so did the X-Men the teams stood Eric, Pietro, and Wanda who I think Pietro carried here. Versus the red-headed woman who I'm guessing is some sort of Telekinetic, the man with the visor who can shoot lasers from his eyes, The wild man with claws in his fists, the young brown haired girl, and the blue beast. Wait where is Xavier? Did he leave all the fighting to his team? That's ridiculous with his psychic powers he could probably knock all three of them out in an instant.

(I can't with Magneto's helmet keeping me from entering his mind).

"What!? Who said that?"

(It's me, Charles Xavier, I am speaking to you telepathically we don't have much time Eric isn't focused on you right now we can use this to beat him).

"Didn't I tell you to stay out of my head! I don't want to be involved in your mutant gang war!"

(You're already involved, and it is imperative we work fast I have a plan to take down Magneto, but you need to work with us, lives could be lost if you run from this.)

"Fine I'll go along with your plan, but only to stop Eric and his kids from hurting anyone" Said Spider-Man

(Excellent you see that girl with the brown hair her name is Kitty and she has the power to phase through solid matter)

"Ok how will she help"

(I already told her the plan and she is on her way now). Just then the girl Xavier just described rose up from the ground in front of me.

"Spider-Man I need you to throw me at Magneto from behind," Said Kitty.

"That's the plan, throwing a teenage girl at a mutant extremist" Said Spider-Man.

"That's just your part if we do this right I can get Magneto's helmet off and Professor Xavier can mentally shut him down unless you have a better idea," Said Kitty.

Spider-Man groans "So I guess we're doing this" Said Spider-Man. I measured the distance I would have to throw her in my head

"You ready," said Kitty.

"The way I need to hold you might make you uncomfortable," said Spider-Man.

"My comfort isn't the priority here, but try not to grope me," said Kitty.

I lined up Kitty supporting here weight in my left hand pressed on her stomach and my right just under her collar bone.

"Remember this was your idea Xavier" Spider-Man says to himself. As he launches Kitty in the air. At first, I think I overshoot sending her too high in the air but she adjusts mid-flight passing right through Eric's upper torso taking his helmet off in the process Eric looks to be in serious pain as he holds his head and begins to fall. I see the two falling at the same rate when I notice Kitty start to float to the ground as if she was wearing an invisible parachute. Pietro catches Eric before he hits the ground and Kitty lands safely in front of the X-Men. It looks like the X-Men are going to win and the animal man pulls out what looks like glowing handcuffs to arrest the three when Wanda's hands start to glow red and she waves them over the area and the ground starts to shake. Then the three of them vanish as if they were never there in the first place.

"Do I get to keep this" asked Kitty? Looking at the helmet in her hands. She and the rest of the X-Men walked over to me, they started saying something but I couldn't quite make it out when all of a sudden my legs gave out and I was face down on the ground. I heard distant voices saying things and felt warm hands touch my face and as my consciousness started to slip away I felt the world disappear as I started to drift off to sleep.
