Of course, at this moment, Spider-Tom had no idea about this.
After "defeating" Doctor Strange with his mouth magic, Spider-Holland was scolded by the infuriated Doctor Strange and was kicked out.
However, before leaving, Doctor Strange, in his anger, gave him a hint:
Perhaps he didn't need to come here to ask Doctor Strange to use magic to fix everything. He could directly find the admissions officer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)! After all, his top priority now was to ensure that MJ and Ned could go to Boston for their studies, instead of missing out on opportunities due to his influence.
Of course, if he could go along with them, that would be even better.
So, Spider-Holland, in exchange for "two weeks of web-swinging to school" and "telling everyone that Flash is Spider-Man's good friend," managed to get the information from Flash that the admissions officer from MIT was on her way to the airport.
Spider-Holland hurried along, battling traffic, until he finally found the admissions officer on an overpass.
"Hello, I'm Peter Parker," Spider-Holland introduced himself.
The admissions officer, a woman, looked at him indifferently and asked, "Do you know you're standing in the middle of a busy road right now?"
Spider-Holland, sounding incredibly nervous, gesticulated, "I know, I'm sorry, but I really need to talk to you."
"Alright," the admissions officer replied with a neutral tone.
Spider-Holland continued, "I know you're heading to the airport now. MJ Watson and Ned Leeds are the two smartest people I've ever met in my life, and I'm a total idiot. I asked them for help because if I didn't, there would be millions of people dead. So, please, don't let MIT become as foolish as I am."
Due to the admissions officer's attitude, Spider-Holland became even more nervous, causing his words to become somewhat disjointed.
At this moment, his amazing intellect and wit seemed to have abandoned him entirely. He was simply a young man deeply concerned about the future of his good friends.
The admissions officer, wearing an unfriendly expression, retorted, "Is MIT filled with fools?"
Spider-Holland, looking embarrassed, quickly explained, "No, no, that's not what I meant. MIT is definitely not filled with fools."
He looked up, struggling to find the right words.
But the more nervous he became, the more his mind went blank.
Darn it, why is this harder than fighting the army of drones against Mysterio?
"I mean, that guy who wouldn't let them help, that I'm an idiot." Spider-Holland's face displayed an awkward smile, and even he felt that his words were all over the place.
The admissions officer, somewhat amused, looked at the embarrassed Spider-Holland and said, "Did you not practice this explanation beforehand, Peter?"
"Um," Spider-Holland lowered his head but didn't give up; he wanted to make one last effort. "Anyway, what I'm trying to say is..."
Buzz—
Just then, his spider-sense tingled!
He was startled, and the embarrassment on his face vanished. In the blink of an eye, he transformed from a shy teenager into a mature warrior.
Spider-Holland leaped lightly onto the roof of a car and quickly saw the commotion ahead.
The road surface of the overpass in front of them was suddenly breaking apart section by section!
Men shouted, women screamed, children cried, and panic quickly spread across the overpass.
Having experienced several battles, participated in the Civil War, fought in the intergalactic war against Thanos, and even defeated the Vulture and Mysterio, the current Spider-Holland was no longer the naive kid he once was.
He immediately realized that danger was unfolding!
The Iron Spider suit manifested instantly.
Spider-Holland leaned down and tapped the car roof. "Oh my goodness! Ma'am, you'd better get out of the car."
Then, he stood up and shouted, "Everyone, quickly evacuate the bridge!"
The admissions officer also grasped the situation, pounding on the car door in fear. "The door is locked, the door! Open it quickly!"
As she said this, the driver of the car had already opened the door and fled.
A true professional.
Boom!
A long mechanical tentacle burst through the cement wall of the overpass, flinging a taxi out and planting itself on the ground.
Following that, more mechanical tentacles emerged from the billowing smoke.
A figure in a black jacket appeared on the overpass.
He looked at Spider-Holland standing on the car roof from a distance and greeted with a slight smirk, "Hello, Peter."
Spider-Holland waved somewhat puzzled, "Hello to you too? Do I...know you?"
Doctor Octopus glared at Spider-Holland and demanded, "What did you do to my machines?!!"
"Machines? What machines?" Spider-Dutch became even more puzzled. "I have no idea what you're talking about, what machines?"
"The solar energy under my control! It's gone!"
"Wait a minute!" Although Spider-Holland was still full of confusion, he wanted to stabilize the situation first and said, "Listen, sir, can we not destroy cars? We can work together to retrieve your machine, how about that?"
"Are you trying to fool me?" Doctor Octopus roared.
Two mechanical tentacles exerted force, one on each side, directly grabbing two cars nearby and throwing them off the overpass.
"Go catch them, little Spider!" Doctor Octopus, well aware of Spider-Man's character, used this tried-and-true move.
Spider-Holland was in a panic, especially because one of the cars still had people inside! He could hear the screams!
He immediately lunged toward them.
And then, thud!
Due to a misjudgment, Spider-Holland crashed heavily onto one of the cars.
"What just happened?" Spider-Holland's entire body was sprawled on the car roof, realizing he was now somehow in mid-air.
The cars that should have been thrown off the overpass didn't go that way; instead, they flew back.
"Hey, buddy, coming back to your senses?"
A voice came from behind.
Spider-Holland quickly turned his head to the sound and saw another Spider-Man in a metal suit, similar to his but with different color combinations, standing on the bridge not far away.
He shot webbing from his left and right hands, precisely attaching them to the two cars that had been flung away.
"Who are you?" Spider-Holland widened his eyes, finding it hard to believe.
Mark replied ungraciously, "Come to your senses and catch the car beneath you. Don't burden me, okay?"
"Uh, sure," even though Mark's words were not polite, Spider-Holland could sense goodwill. He obediently jumped down from the car roof and, in the moment the vehicle was about to land, gently placed it in an empty area nearby.
Inside were a shaken family of three.
Spider-Holland waved to them, "Get out quickly, leave this place."
"Thank you, thank you," the father hugged his daughter, thanked him repeatedly, and then hurriedly fled.
Afterward, Spider-Holland turned to look at the other side.
The newly arrived Spider-Man had also tossed the other empty car aside and was walking in his direction.
