Chapter 188

One day passed quickly.

As three parallel universe portals opened in succession, the previously tranquil Earth-001 suddenly resembled a pond struck by three stones, instantly rippling with brilliance.

These three portals, connecting different parallel universes, naturally originated from three distinct worlds, representing three different Spider-Man teams.

The Benevolent Spider Legion!

The Ruthless Spider Legion!

And the New Fate Web Legion!

Although the Benevolent Spider Legion and the Ruthless Spider Legion had met during this period, due to the inheritors halting their hunting operations, lacking external pressure, they hadn't merged as originally expected but continued their independent actions.

However, both sides attempted to recruit powerful Spider-Men from different parallel universes to increase their chances in the final battle.

Yet, this conduct couldn't be easily categorized as good or bad.

Because among the recruited Spider-Men, there were always some "anomalies."

Naturally, the New Fate Web Legion was led by Mark, the Spider-Man who wielded the entirely new Web of Fate.

His legion didn't expand.

Not long ago, he had sensed a particular force acting upon him, causing his Web of Fate to lose its ability to connect with other new parallel universes.

After pondering, it seemed that only the Weaver Master possessed such a capability!

He wasn't sure why the Weaver Master did this, but it didn't matter anymore.

Because he had perfected his ultimate technique to annihilate the inheritors!

The three teams thus converged in this unfamiliar world for them!

Behind Superior Spider-Man were all the members of the "Ruthless Spider Legion," including Spider-Monkey, Spider-Girl(Bitch), Six-Armed Spider-Man, Spider-Cyborg, Indian Spider-Man (Pavtr), Spider-Norman (from a world where Norman Osborn became Spider-Man), Spider-Punk, Spider Swarm, and others, most of whom shared Parker's ruthless attributes.

In short, they shared the same mindset.

The only downside was that Otto Parker noticed the Spider-Norman recruited from Earth-44145 was constantly trying to wrest control of the team from him.

Fortunately, he had no intention of befriending that guy; he only waited to finish this battle and bid their own ways.

Grounded, Otto and the others raised their heads, turning their gaze to the other side.

Otto smirked disdainfully, saying, "Tsk! Those meddling folks have indeed followed us here..."

"Ah, don't say that. We have a common enemy. I think we should just unite." said Spider-Indian.

"Exactly, let's unite," Spider-Swarm, also known as "Spiders-Man" chimed in.

His tone was mild, yet unsettling.

Hearing him speak, Spider-Girl felt goosebumps all over, unsure of the source of this sensation.

---

Meanwhile, on the other side, the primary universe Spider-Man arrived with his Benevolent Spider Legion in this world.

Most conspicuous among them was a massive mecha suit.

It was none other than Leopardon!

On the mecha suit's shoulder stood a smaller one.

Penny Parker sat alongside her Spider-Mecha buddy on Leopardon's shoulder, casually chatting with Aunt May Spider-Man.

"Hey, Takuya-san, are all monsters in your world this big? Your mecha is enormous!" Penny teased.

Takuya Yamashiro, the owner of the Leopardon squinted and replied, "Yes, Penny-chan, our monsters are as big as mountains!"

"Wahh!" Penny Parker licked a rainbow lollipop and gave a thumbs-up to the Spider-Mecha.

Both hailed from the same country—albeit different worlds—and shared the bond of being mech pilots.

---

Emerging from the portal, Spider-Gwen scanned the surroundings, furrowing her brow. "This world... it feels oddly strange."

Following her, Spider-British queried, "Really? I don't feel anything strange."

Spider-Ham bounced around, active on the ground, then leaped onto a building. "Looks like we've arrived in the southeast of this world's New York City!"

At that moment, Mark stood still, silent.

Spider-Gwen walked up to him, gently taking his hand.

Mark snapped out of his thoughts, holding Gwen's soft palm. "You felt it too?"

Gwen nodded, "I sensed something peculiar, but I can't pinpoint what it is. How about you?"

Mark sighed, "I never expected that, despite thinking I came to save him, despite thinking we had a mentor-student relationship, in the end, he chose to become my enemy..."

Spider-Gwen fell silent, understanding what Mark was saying.

Mark had confided in her before, revealing the origin of his power—a spider that had detached from the Weaver. Through numerous parallel universes, it eventually found Mark in that unique world, bestowing upon him this power.

Therefore, Mark always regarded the Weaver as a mentor, even a sort of master.

His original plan was to eliminate all Inheritors, prevent the Superior Spider-Man from ambushing and killing the Weaver—thus halting the "fate" that entwined the Weaver—and rescue the Weaver to continue maintaining the web of destiny.

But now, upon entering this world, he grasped the Weaver's intentions.

The Weaver wanted to get rid of him!

He didn't understand why the Weaver would do this, but he trusted the judgment his web of destiny offered.

The "Force of Destiny" within his web of fate was somewhat akin to an enhanced version of Spider-Sense. While some Spider-Men could foresee brief futures through their Spider-Sense, it was actually the activation of a small portion of the Force of Destiny.

No wonder the Weaver recently cut off that subtle connection he had with the universes of other Spider-Men—the Weaver held such intentions!

But why?

Mark now yearned to rush straight to the Spider Temple, seize the Weaver, and demand answers!

Just then, he sensed intricate and intertwined Spider-Totem energies from two other locations.

It was the aura emitted by a large gathering of Spider-Men!

For now, he set aside his inner doubts.

Although the Weaver was adept at manipulating fate, becoming the guardian of life and destiny meant certain sacrifices, making some aspects of him not as elevated.

He just wielded the authority over fate, making him seem mighty.

Coincidentally, Mark possessed a similar ability.

Even if he couldn't confront the Weaver directly, it was enough for self-preservation!

Hence, he surmised that the Weaver summoned so many Spider-Men to this world at this moment not just to defeat the Inheritors but also possibly to use the other Spider-Men against him!

"Nice thought, but they're under my command now!" Mark smirked, gesturing with a circle, beckoning, "Guys, let's move. Let's go meet our other 'good buddies'!"
