170 Chapter 170

Swish!

Swish!

Swish!

Three figures appeared almost simultaneously from all directions.

Mark, who was conversing with the Armored Spider-Man, immediately stopped upon seeing this.

The Armored Spider-Man also sensed something amiss and became instantly alert.

Mark's gaze swept over the three individuals and then settled on the Armored Spider-Man. "Among the three newcomers, there's one stronger than this one. Are you afraid?"

The Armored Spider-Man smiled, "Afraid? At first, I was quite scared, but what use is fear now? These bastards won't spare me just because I'm afraid, right?"

Boom!

Daemos, Brix, and Bora jumped down from all sides, surrounding Mark and the Armored Spider-Man.

Upon hearing the Armored Spider-Man's words, Bora chuckled, "Exactly, your fear is the perfect seasoning for us during meals, isn't that right, Brix? Brix?"

Bora teased her twin brother unconsciously, but she didn't get a response from Brix.

She turned her head only to find her dear twin brother glaring fiercely at someone opposite them, his eyes burning with anger.

Brix gritted his teeth, "It's you! It's definitely you!"

Daemos also growled lowly, exuding a murderous aura, directly charging at Mark, "You're dead meat!"

Mark calmly spread his hands, "Oh my, aren't you Daemos and Brix? Doesn't death taste awful? Why are you in such a rush to die, growing up so quickly without having your milk? So eager to come here and meet your end?"

"Ahh!" Brix was instantly enraged and followed Daemos in a charge.

However, Mark didn't engage with them at all.

He extended his hand, placed it on the Armored Spider-Man's shoulder, and activated his ability.

"If you've got what it takes, come and catch me~" Mark chuckled lightly and disappeared.

Soon after, an immensely tempting Spider Totem aura, unique to the Inheritors' family, spread from the east side of the city.

Morlun looked at his two brothers in surprise, "Daemos, Brix, could it be that the one who killed you was him?"

Daemos nodded grimly, then swiftly darted towards the source of the aura.

"Today, I'll definitely kill him! I'll tear his fingers off one by one and leave nothing behind to eat!"

Brix face didn't look any better.

Furious and flushed, he flew silently behind Daemos, swiftly heading towards where Mark's aura emanated.

Morlun and Bora exchanged a glance, mutually puzzled.

Bora asked, "Brother Morlun, what should we do?"

Morlun replied irritably, "What should we do? Obviously, we follow! These two idiots, having died once already, still rush in so recklessly."

He directed the remaining Namurrahs half-mechanical robots to head in that direction.

Simultaneously, he informed what they had discovered and the approaching Jennix from their side.

Jennix was somewhat surprised.

Although he had seen Mark's figure when Brix died, he hadn't witnessed who killed Daemos.

Daemos, being proud and arrogant, wouldn't disclose such an embarrassing matter to his siblings.

"If that's the case, what's his purpose?" Jennix wondered. "Even though he managed to kill Daemos alone, he wouldn't think he could challenge all of us alone, right?"

Morlun also furrowed his brow slightly, feeling something was off.

He remembered his first encounter with Mark, a brief confrontation before Mark fled with the spider he saved.

Now, Mark was acting so aggressively, as if there were some conspiracy afoot.

"Wait!" Morlun suddenly whispered, seemingly grasping something. "What's wrong?" Jennix asked.

Morlun said urgently, "Jennix, how many guards are left in your cloning company?"

Jennix replied, "Five hundred in total. I brought a hundred, so there are still four hundred. Why?"

Morlun swiftly said, "You must return immediately! Go back to your cloning company!"

Jennix initially furrowed his brow, then realized, surprised, "Do you think he's intentionally luring us here and sending those other spiders he saved to destroy our cloning devices?"

"Exactly! The cloning company and the Master Weaver are our two most crucial places. We don't need to worry about the Weaver; with Father there, no matter how many spiders go, they won't come back. But your cloning company is different. These spiders may be weak, but each possesses some unique ability. You need to be extremely cautious!" Morlun stated.

Jennix understood suddenly.

He immediately halted and asked the Master Weaver to create a pathway back.

"I understand. I'll personally oversee the cloning company. Meanwhile, I'll gather all those enslaved in this world near the company. We'll talk once you've concluded things on your end."

"Good!" Morlun nodded, ending the call.

Sensing the tantalizing Spider Totem aura emanating from Mark in the distance, he smirked.

"I nearly fell into your trap, but alas, I'm a step ahead! Your delicious life forces, we'll take them!"

Thinking, his speed increased a few notches.

Meanwhile, Mark chose the eastern side of this city as the battlefield.

This area seemed to be under development, with wastelands scattered around and further away, directly connecting to the ocean—plenty of room to unleash some serious action.

He turned to look at the Armored Spider-Man and said, "You're not fit for the incoming battle. Go help my teammates."

"Huh? Your teammates? Where are they?" The Armored Spider-Man looked around puzzled.

With a thought, Mark brought the Armored Spider-Man to another world.

"All my teammates are in this world. We'll act together in a while," Mark explained.

Afterward, he turned and returned to the earth-31411 universe.

He was the most crucial bait and couldn't stay away for too long.

Setting up such a trap for the inheritors wasn't easy. If they left that world, regathering them would become quite challenging.

Mark didn't have to wait too long.

Daemos' figure appeared before him.

Daemos charged through like a cruise missile, knocking down all the buildings in his path.

Mark exclaimed, "So, you can fly? Why didn't you fly the last time we met? Did you lose your mind?"

He referred to their encounter in the Spider-Man Unlimited Universe.

At that time, Daemos had been punched down to the depths and had jumped back up layer by layer, not flown directly. Mark assumed Daemos couldn't fly.

Daemos remained silent, clenched his fist, and charged at Mark.

Mark, speechless, exchanged a punch with him, saying, "Did you exchange your speaking ability for flight? Sorry for the audacity, but are you the Little Mermaid? Oh, my mistake, you're too ugly to be called the Little Mermaid. You should be called the Clownfish."

Enraged, Daemos growled, launching a sweeping kick toward Mark.

Mark jumped, evading the kick. However, the forceful wind carried by the kick still roared out, carving a long trench tens of meters away.

"Oops! The clownfish is angry! Giving up your voice for the ability to fly and eagerly rushing to meet the prince, I mean, the princess, but alas, not meeting anyone. My friend, I truly sympathize with your situation," Mark sincerely remarked.

"You damn well shut up!" Daemos, unable to contain his anger, leaped into the air, delivering a series of punches.

Dodging left and right, Mark made a whimsical expression of helplessness, "Ah, unable to meet the lovely princess, but there's no need to vent on me, right? With your temperament, no girl will like you, and of course, no boy either."

"F*** this!" Daemos cursed furiously, intensifying his attacks.

However, due to his extreme anger, his attacks became severely distorted. Moreover, the attacks were too telegraphed, making it effortless for Mark to dodge.

At this moment, Brix also arrived and joined the battle.

After Mark had knocked away the whip Brix had used before, Brix somehow managed to acquire another one from somewhere.

With a swift swing, the whip tried wrapping around Mark.

Spider-Sense didn't work on the inheritors, but Mark had mental strength gained from learning magic. Moreover, this mental strength had grown several times over due to the effects of the Mind Stone.

Thus, even without Spider-Sense, Mark dodged with ease.

Despite being outnumbered, he didn't seem to fall behind.

Upon witnessing this scene, Morlun and Bora were greatly surprised.

To be so calm and composed under the combined attack of two inheritors was a rare sight, even after experiencing so many worlds!

Morlun even began to doubt his own speculations.

He pondered, perhaps Mark genuinely had the confidence to face them alone, which is why he appeared here alone!

Bora, on the other hand, didn't dwell on such thoughts.

She let out a low growl, her eyes filled with excitement glowing red.

Her tongue licked her crimson lips, saying, "Delicious, truly exquisite. Morlun, I'll go first. I can't wait to pluck a few fingers from him and taste the freshness!"

With that, she drew several throwing knives from her waist and hurled them at Mark.

Meanwhile, Mark swiftly ducked to evade Daemos' punch, then opportunistically rammed his shoulder forcefully into Daemos' chest, sending him retreating several meters.

Next, he made a quick grab with his left hand, seizing Brix's whip.

Brix cheered, shouting, "I've got him tangled up!"

However, before he could finish his sentence, Mark's hand transformed into an ionized state.

A shimmering blue electrical surge raced down the whip towards Brix.

Startled, Brix hurriedly released the whip.

With no guidance, the electrical surge diverted.

At this moment, the flying knives thrown by Verna arrived.

Prepared, Mark swiftly caught two knives, then hurled them—one towards Brix and the other towards Daemos.

The knife struck Daemos but, due to his extraordinary physique, it didn't pierce; instead, it ricocheted off to the side.

However, Brix emitted a painful scream—there was a throwing knife lodged in his abdomen.
