Chapter 15

Half a Day Earlier.

Last night.

Miles was so irritated by Mark's words that he was in a panic state and decided to leave the place for a while and go off on his own for a while.

So he left Aunt May's house and headed for Brooklyn.

He didn't dare go home, though, but went to the home of his uncle Aaron Davis.

Unfortunately, his uncle was not at home.

So, he wrote a note to this uncle of his, who was closest to him and was tolerable with all the mess he makes

Just as he was about to leave, the prowler suddenly arrived at his uncle's house.

And, through the opened window, the prowler realised that someone might be in the house.

In a moment of panic, Miles activates his invisibility powers.

The prowler's glasses have an infrared detector to detect heat.

But as Mark says, when Miles goes into his invisible state, it can even block out the infra-red detectors.

So at first, the prowler did not managed detect Miles.

Even though Miles was just sitting right in front of him, just a few meters away from him.

At that moment, his boss's phone rang.

"Hello Mr. Fisk," the prowler picked up the phone, "I got the video footage from the tunnel, and as long as he's still here, I'll find him. You know mye sir, I never give up."

Then, thinking he was being paranoid about his earlier suspicion, the prowler hung up the phone and took off his hood, ready to get a bottle of wine out for a sip.

And the face that was revealed when the hood was taken off was that of Aaron Davis, Miles' dear uncle.

Miles' pupils contracted for a moment, but he had been chased by the prowler once before when Spider-Man had died in this world, and so, the oppressive presence of the prowler made him cover his mouth, while holding his breath for fear of revealing a breath.

The prowler turned around and went to the wine cabinet, picking up the wine on it.

Miles took this opportunity to flip out of the window in a hurry.

But as he did so, he accidentally touched the plant that had been placed in the window.

The prowler, who had just picked up the glass of wine, immediately noticed something strange about the place.

He put the glass down and dashed in hot pursuit.

The heat generated by the movement of Miles exposed him, and even though he was still invisible at the moment, he was still visible to the prowler's eyes.

A chase and flight ensued between the two in the street.

After barely escaping the prowler, Miles dared not go home and found a street corner to sleep for the night before dragging his tired body straight to Aunt May's house in Queens.

When he arrived, he met Peni, who had just finished making her dangerous toys, and Noir, who had just returned from being outside.

That's what led to the words that Mark and the others heard as they entered.

Miles was running, panting, out of breath, and with panic and overwhelm all over his face.

Peter came up behind him and patted him on the back, "Hey, kid, take your time."

Seeing him, Miles calmed down a little and said, "My uncle, the prowler, he works for Kingpin and he tried to kill me!"

"That's a bit too simple and crude of a plot, isn't it?" Noir said as he sat on the couch and looked over.

"Hey!" Penny slapped him on the shoulder in annoyance.

People were already so sad, shocked, and devastated, and he still dare say things like that.

Peter took Miles into his arms and gave him a bear hug, patting him on the back reassuringly, "It's okay, it's okay, we'll figure it out."

At that moment, however, Mark, Gwen and Ham, who were standing in the courtyard, were startled in unison.

Their Spider sense was triggered.

*Boom!*

A figure descended from the sky and smashed heavily into the concrete floor in front of Aunt May's house, sending a crack through the concrete floor.

It was an afro-hair-styled woman dressed entirely in a lime green steel uniform, her hair tied back with a hair band and a pair of goggles over her eyes, making it impossible to see her eyes.

And to top it all off, behind her were several tentacles with large claws that all moved about in calculated manners.

Dr. Octopus.

Olivia Liv Octavius.

Unlike the Doc Ock of most other worlds, the Doctor Octopus of this world, was a woman.

But people didn't took her lightly just for that reason.

Because no matter what, Dr. Octopus is Dr. Octopus.

A mad scientist with advanced technology technology and high intelligence.

"Nice place, really hard to find," Liv Octavius said sarcastically as she then continued after looking around, "Wow, there are so many Spider-Men. Sorry, am I interrupting something?"

She looked at Mark, Gwen, Spider-Ham, Peter and Miles with a cruel smile on her face.

"I think. I was followed," said Miles, looking up from Peter's arms.

"It's Liv, Miles, get in the house," Peter pulled Miles behind him and assumed a fighting stance.

"Guys, I think, we're in big trouble." Mark shouted as he looked to the sky.

*Whoosh! Whoosh!*

In the sky, a helicopter hovered.

The hatch on one side of the helicopter had been opened and it was clear that that was where Dr Octopus had come from.

And then, once again, a figure appeared in the hatch.

It was a man in a black suit, with silver-grey skin like steel.

His name was Lonnie Thompson Lincoln aka Tombstone. He was one of the biggest underworld leaders in New York. He is a black man who has been ridiculed by those around him since he was a child because he suffers from albinism, making his personality cold-blooded and heartless. After being exposed to Diox-3, he gained the ability to be invulnerable to knives and guns.

*Thud!*

Tombstone leapt from the helicopter, which was suspended 20 to 30 metres in the air, and smashed down to the concrete floor that turned into pieces.

"Looks like there's a lot of fun to be have here." Tombstone stood up straight and walked over to Liv, looking at Mark and the others with a cruel smile on his face.

"Look at these poor little spiders," came a voice from the helicopter once again.

A third figure then descended from the sky.

It was a strange man wearing a suit of mechanical scorpion battle armour, with four mechanical scorpion-like feet and a mechanical scorpion tail needle erected behind him.

His name is MacDonald Gargan, originally a private detective hired to investigate Spider-Man's true identity.

Based on the principle that a spider's nemesis is the scorpion, his employer built him a high-tech scorpion battle suit, but the flaw was that it eroded the human brain, turning the user into a being that lived only to destroy.

Thus, MacDonald became a puppet of this scorpion battle suit.

In the distance, a motorbike roars up and brakes sharply, leaving long brake marks on the ground.

A strange man in a purple high-tech battle suit also appeared in front of the crowd.

It was Aaron Davis, Miles' own uncle, the Prowler.

At this point, the four superhumans under Kingpin are all together and is ready for a battle.
