33) Let's Talk Strategy

Peter walked towards Iceman and waved "Hey, looks like we're on the same team" he said.

"It would seem so" replied Iceman.

"Now we just need shadow" muttered Peter looking around for the eerie lady he saw earlier. Eventually finding her leaning on the back of the wall like some edgy kid.

"Let's go" added Peter strutting towards Shadow along with Iceman.

Peter and Iceman stood in front of her and Peter greeted her while introducing the two of them, "Hey, I'm Spider-Man and this is Iceman. Your teammates. We were wondering if we could discuss a few things is that alright?" he asked while Iceman nervously waved.

"Fine" she replied.

"Ok, we should find another place, I don't want the others to hear the topics of our conversation" replied Peter.

"Where exactly?" Shadow replied.

Peter looked deeply at his coffee realizing that he couldn't drink it through his mask while people stared and took photos.

"A cafe? Really?" questioned Shadow.

"Not my best idea I admit" replied Peter.

"Good coffee" mentioned Iceman.

"This whole thing is stupid! We are currently some of the most famous people in the world and you thought a public coffee shop would be the best place?" battered Shadow.

"You may be correct but your words still hurt alright. I feel like you're bringing the team down," replied Peter.

Shadow sighed "What did you want to discuss then" she continued.

"Plans for the 3 on 3 thing," said Peter.

"Ok, then. What did you have in mind" questioned Shadow.

"It's not perfect so far but I think I'm on the cusp of something. For our fight against quicksilver teams. First Quicksilver he's our biggest problem with their team." answered Peter.

"How do we fight someone with superspeed?" wondered Iceman while sipping his coffee.

"Easy, Quicksilver mentioned on our first meeting that he's getting used to his powers and is only starting to get used to using them effectively. But my thoughts are that he's only used to normal ground based on his story of coming to this country, so we just need him to face Iceman." continued Peter.

Iceman poured the coffee from his mouth back into his mug "What?" he answered perplexed.

"You are our best bet against Quicksilver" responded Peter.

"You're joking right, how am I going to compete with super speed?" replied Iceman confused.

"You freeze the ground around you and him, If I'm correct then he's not used to different conditions other than normal concrete so an icy floor might throw him off enough for you to finish him off." Peter finished.

"How can you be so sure?" questioned Shadow.

"I can't but realistically it's all we have unless you can move faster?" Peter replied and paused for a while "didn't think so" Peter finished as Shadow remained silent.

"I'll try" interjected Iceman. "I'll trust you on this" he added.

"What about us then?" asked Shadow.

"Either one will do, but I believe 3D-Man will suit you better mainly because I know nothing about him and Hawkeye should be dealable for me with my spider-sense so her marksmanship should prove useless" answered Peter.

"What about the other team?" questioned Iceman.

"Behemoth and Blackbolt present the biggest issue. Behemoth due to his sheer size and strength not one of us can deal with him and Black Bolts' powers are too vague. We will have to talk about those two at a different time when we get more info from their hero work" said Peter.

"What about Tigra?" questioned Shadow.

"That depends on your abilities if you don't mind telling me so" inquired Peter.

She paused for a while, "I can go into any shadow and I have assassin training from Black Widow" she answered.

"When hidden in the shadow do you still give off a smell?" asked Peter.

"What are you asking you pervert? Yes, I do" she answered quite flushed.

"Then I'll take on Tigra, With Tigra's abnormal sense of smell she'll sniff you out with ease then so your biggest advantage will be ruined, that will be our first plan next up... wait what did you call me? I wasn't paying enough attention" continued Peter.

"Don't worry about it" replied Shadow.

"She called you a pervert," added Iceman.

"What! Why? What did I do?" replied

Peter confused.

"Never mind that when should we meet up again to discuss Behemoth and Black Bolt?" asked Shadow.

"The morning of the event that's why we'll have all the info we need to figure out how to deal with them, until then we should focus on getting ready by crime fighting. No need to train when we can just get real-life experience anyway" answered Peter.

"But how will we split them up and why shouldn't we fight as a team?" wondered Iceman.

"In 2 days we won't gain enough trust and experience with each other for a team battle, which takes time it's better if we do a one-on-one as we don't have any other factors to consider and I don't think any of us make good leaders which is vital for a team. Luring them will be tricky, we should come up with ideas in the meantime and share them during the day," replied Peter.

"You're smarter than you seemed," said Shadow.

"Thanks" Peter replied.

"Can I get an autograph?" asked a little kid.

"Sure" Iceman replied.

The three continued to talk for around 30 minutes before deciding to do some crime work in the meantime to boost their popularity, despite being interrupted frequently. A public local coffee shop really wasn't the best decision by Peter.

"Before you go, make sure during your breaks to watch any posts or videos the others watch to figure out how they behave and how they use their powers. It'll help to try to figure out how we can lure them," said Peter as Shadow and Iceman nodded in response.

Peter swung away eventually stumbling on some masked men suspiciously running away from a bank with bags of money in hand.
