Looking at the sudden pop-up sent by The System, Miles was baffled by sheer amount of EXP Points and other rewards.
'Hehehehe', Miles chucked darkly looking at the screen.
Then his gaze shifted to unconscious lady on the ground, actually what Miles was looking at wasn't Doctor Octopus but her Armour that had stolen Miles's heart.
Miles first thought was to kidnap Doc Ock and grab that armour off her body but, then his rationality took effect and he looked at the scientists that were approaching him and Peter frantically.
Miles groaned and didn't dare to go up to finish the job, there was a large mob of scientists equipped with high-tech weapons right behind him.
He would die if he waited a few more seconds.
Following behind Peter who held onto the Computer fighting, Miles looked at the unconscious Doctor Octopus on the ground one last time,
'Next time I see you, I'll make you mine SweetHeart'
Miles thought in his heart as he followed closely, they then rushed out from the back porch of the Alchemax building, due to the horde of scientists who followed behind them with large laser guns as if their life was being taken away, Miles and Peter could only jump away from the scene through the roof.
Miles held onto Peter's robe as they swung away into the woods and immediately escaped from the area of the Alchemax building.
Only the loud and angry shouts of the Scientists behind them could be heard, but they had escaped with their lives.
'Fuck that was scary,' Miles thought, he felt threatened by those high-energy laser guns, he would only be at ease when he increased his body's defensive ability that could resist them one day.
'Today you have made me run like a rat, next time I meet you, I'll make you run like a dog and I'll be the one with laser cannons', Miles looked at the crazy scientists disappearing in the distance.
"30 years in the East, 30 years in the West, Don't bully young and poor", Like a young master from some chinese novels, Miles left harsh words for Alchemax's scientists.
"What you you babbling up there, boy?" Peter whose mind was on escaping didn't hear Miles clearly and asked him.
"It's Nothing Man!"
As Miles and Peter swung through the forest, Miles couldn't help but increase his vigilance as he noticed a presence following behind them.
"Is it Doctor Octopus, how did she catch up so fast," Miles thought, After all, he had stunned her and watched her body fall flat to the ground.
"There is someone behind us Peter" Miles said as he tightly held onto Peter while he swung through the maze of tall trees.
"What? how?" Peter was also confused, but he couldn't help but look back and saw a figure following right behind them while also swinging from trees, almost as if they had web shooters.
wait a minute!
That figure did have web-shooters.
Peter wracked his brain for an answer but he continued moving and didn't stop, but no matter how far he went, the figure continued following them.
"Wait, she also seems to be like us, stop for a second!" Miles said urgently.
"Stop? What if we get killed" Peter exclaimed and continued swinging.
"There are two of us, only one of her," Miles said with rolled eyes, they were already far from Alchemax.
"No, I won't stop. For now," Peter refused to stop and continued with his swinging.
It was only after 5 minutes that Peter slowed down before landing somewhere safely.
Miles and Peter both looked at the appearance of this new person in confusion, Although Miles knew who this person was, how could he explain any relation to her?
The figure who appeared wore a tight-fitting suit, similar to the one that Peter wore, She took off her mask and immediately began to speak.
"You guys finally stopped running?"
This was a woman with a slim body and short wavy blonde hair.
"I'm from another dimension, I'm Spiderwoman" Gwen Stacy introduced herself as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Bruh? another Spiderman?" Peter exclaimed as he held his head in confusion, it was too much for him.
"Spiderwoman" Gwen corrected.
"And, What's your name girl?" Miles had a look of confusion on his face as he looked at Gwen.
"It's Gwen, and who are you?," Gwen asked Miles as she looked at him and wondered 'why is he wearing a Joker mask?'
It was only now that Miles realized that he had not taken his mask off, he swiftly took off his mask with calculated movement of his hand.
"I'm Miles, Miles Morales" he introduced himself to her and looked at her hair that was not cut in any style or anything.
Miles remembered that 'Miles' in the movie sticks his hands in Gwen's hair and then it becomes a new haircut for her, but now nothing sort of thing has happened in this timeline.
'Damn! This plot is getting filled with more and more madness, I didn't even get to study in the same class as Gwen. Fuck you! Heavenly Dao!'
'Should I go and give her a new hairstyle by sticking my hands in her hair again?' Miles couldn't help but have some ridiculous ideas then he felt he might get beaten up by Gwen for this matter.
It wasn't until Peter's voice pulled him out of his thinking that he noticed he was staring at Gwen's face for too long. It might come as rude.
"Wait, y'all know each other?" Peter raised a brow and asked.
"No?" Miles didn't know how to answer that, He and Gwen weren't that close as of now.
"Hmm, I'm also from another dimension. how did you end up here?" Peter began asking questions, he was glad to have found, someone similar to him.
Gwen immediately explained her situation and how she was also transported through a strange portal that had appeared.
"Wait, you too? fucking hell" Peter widened his eyes as he gazed at Gwen, so he wasn't the only one that had been sucked up by that portal?
What the hell was that thing?
"I like your hair" Miles said with a gentle smile to stop Peter from going even crazier.
"Thank you" Gwen was stunned for a bit.
"But I think it would be even better if you cut it in an undercut style" Miles suggested with a handsome smile again.
"I'll think about it" she gave Miles a smile before putting her hood back on.
"We need to go," Gwen said before covering her face and then zipping through the woods with her web-shooters.
"She sure is a feisty one" Peter Said with a grin as he saw Miles's Awkward expression.
"Yes well, she is cute so it makes up for it" Miles hastily said before grabbing onto Peter as they swung away, following closely behind Gwen.
