Average Day

It has been two months since that day, and it has been relatively quiet. I have been through a harsh conversation with my mother, Michael, and Melissa.

Then 10 minutes later Michael was talking to me about how I could become a better Spider-Man, and it was helpful.

First, he had Melissa teach me to look after children by having me go in my Spider-Man outfit to the orphanage she visits. And confirmed it was the same orphanage that I had barely saved that little girl.

<Flashback, 1 month after 'The Hand'>

I entered through a shelter provided to the orphanage, and I was currently in my Spider-Man outfit. Melissa knocked on the door, and when opened an old Nun looked out and greeted Melissa.

"OH! Meli, how are you, sweet girl?" She then paused seeing me and then gripped me into an embrace, which shocked me as my Spider-Sense would normally go off on an attack. Then again a hug isn't an attack.

"OH! Thank you, young man!" The old Nun cried, she then grabbed my hands and started touching her head with them. I was nervous but also confused. I grabbed her hand back and talked,

"Mam. Mam, it's alright. I just did what I thought was right." Hearing this seemed to cause her to cry a bit more before wiping her tears with her hands, she looked at me and then grabbed my hand again.

"Come inside, young man. Ellie wants to see you."

We entered the building and encountered another Nun, at first I thought she was Ellie but after she said that Ellie was with the other orphans. So we walked towards a play area where you could see children, but no Nun.

"Children! Look who is here to see you." The old Nun spoke, the children turned and jaws dropped. They started running towards me and some hugged me but some passed and hugged Melissa. After a few moments of children jumping around and asking me to play, I eventually agreed but only after I met this 'Ellie'. But as I said that, one of the boys grabbed a girl who was hugging my leg and yelled.

"Here you go!" I was confused and shocked at the boy's actions, but when I looked at the little girl. I felt my heart lift. Her little frame was around 3ft4, her hands that held my outfit were pale white, and her long black hair covered her blue eyes. And when looking at her face more, you could see her tears. I dropped to my knees and hugged her, her little hands hugged me back and reminded me of when her little life almost left me.

I didn't realize I started crying, and around us, the kids also started crying probably because they also saw the same seen as me. After a minute, I let go of her and talked.

"Ellie, right? I'm so happy you are safe." She started wiping her eyes and nodded to me, she then spoke back.

"T-thank you. Y-you-" She couldn't finish talking but it didn't matter, I hugged her again and held her close. I didn't realize that when holding her, was that I started to calm down. The feeling was so warming, it felt like I was holding an extension of myself in my arms, the little breaths and heartbeat would soothe me to the point I almost forgot where I was.

Eventually, I started playing with the children and have also found out more about Ellie. Ellie's dream was to be an artist and had shown me some pictures she drew of me, and to be honest, the drawings were on the border of realism. The little girl was very clingy to people she liked, and she was also very shy in groups, however, the damn child was extremely cheeky one time I was playing with her she had taken position behind me and sneak attacked me. Spider-Sense was activated but turning my head around only to see her caught me off guard until she started tickling me. I started laughing and seizing up on the floor, and eventually, a lot of the children joined in and I was in a dilemma. If I tried to fight back I may have killed them, I could have tried to web them up but it was hard to aim in my situation, so I had to wait until they finished I was on the floor heaving in exhaustion.

After an hour, I had my revenge as you could see children all webbed up and breathing in exhaustion from being tickled, however, I still had Ellie in my arms and still tickling her, and she was laughing like crazy.

"Hahaha!! I! HAHA! I'm sorry!" She could barely speak, but I stopped and laid her on the floor. I slowly took the children and placed them on the floor, and slowly we started playing normal games again.

"Hey Ellie, when's your birthday?" I spoke,

"22nd of September." Her birthday was 10 days ago, so I decided to give her my Spin reward for this month.

I pulled out from behind me a [Good] grade Chinese Fan, Sapphire blue color, red lines on the handle, it is more durable than normal fans and allows the flow of air fanned to be 10x more comfortable.

She saw the fan and felt happy, she grabbed it and hugged me then whispered a thank you.

<End Flashback>

It's been a month and I still visit her from time to time, and I enjoy every moment she always holds the fan I gave her. She was like my little sunshine.

And I have been planning to give her the [Useless] grade Stone Dagger, It attaches to the wrist and acts like a cheap hidden blade that can used once.

I also gained from my one-month Spin a Skill called [Bullet-Time], Can slow time to a snail's pace for 1 second, for every 1 minute.

It was given as a [Usable] grade Skill, and I plan to use it in any case scenario but not randomly as I might need it eventually.

Second, Michael taught me how to use a phone although not my phone, but I apparently needed to use it too because social media is a 'big' thing. So it took and I still taking time to learn how to use devices.

The third, was to learn how to fight against normal people of both genders with and without fighting experiences, and different attitudes. And this allowed my [Spider's-Grappling Technique] to +1. Without my [Gauntlets of Lighting] it might cause more damage or force than needed, and to try to do situations like the police, however, more effectively. A few points Michael made was someone might steal my Gauntlets even though I store them in my [Storage], two of each of my gauntlets weigh half-strength stat so currently they weigh around half a ton.

The fourth was to learn parkour which allowed me to learn the Skill [Parkour], and my [Spider-Climb] +1 to +2.

Currently, I was swinging through the city and was looking around for anything. And unfortunately, I found a group of police in a wall manner with see-through shields.

Swinging over and onto the roof of a building, I look around and effectively use my [Analyze] causing it to go +1. I immediately saw the effects, I saw that this was a riot about the LGBTQ+ but that isn't my concern my concern is any potential assaults.

However, I looked to see the police so I decided to look at my stats.

Level: 11 [215/1000]

Power: 825kg

Strength: 1.2Ton

Speed: 175mph

Durability: 35 + 5

Intelligence: 17 / 170IQ

Points: 20

Leveling up 2 times increased my Strength, Speed, Durability, and Intelligence. However, I don't understand what Points is.

[Spin Wheel]

Level->2

Month->x

Birthday->x

Accomplishment->x

I decided to use my Level-up Spin twice,

[Ding! You have gained 5 points.]

[Ding! You have gained an Equipment Lucky grade {Hidden Blade}, A blade placed on the right wrist, a black design wrapping the forearm, the blade is made of Uru Asgardian Metal, is incredibly sharp to be able to cut almost any metal, and is durable to the point of only breaking under almost no amount of force.]

I decided to only equip it when I'm in civilian attire. I'm in my thoughts until I see someone try to through a prop at the cops. However, I jumped at high speeds toward the group shot a web at the prop caught it, and swung in between the two sides.

When the group of civilians saw me they got mad because it wasn't the first time I intervened,

"Hey! Civilians, stand down there is no need to have violence." However, my speech made them more mad. Behind me, a cop calls,

"Hey Spider-Man, even though we legally should be arresting you. I appreciate the help."

I just raised my hand and gave him a thumbs-up,

"Civilians, you have the right to your opinion. However! You are not allowed to for a riot, in the middle of the street." I spoke out, and then someone threw an item at me. I caught it and snapped it in half,

"Do NOT! Throw things."

After seeing this, the group slowly dispersed and cursed at me.

"Yo, Spider!" A cop yelled, then gave me a fist bump. I then engaged in a conversation with them, and after a few minutes, one comment surfaced.

"Oh! Spider-Man, did you check Twitter." Shaking my head no, he pulled out a phone and after a few minutes, he showed a post.

{BBC News (UK):

Spider-Man is out on the street, swinging into action again. We would love the opportunity to have Jane Hill and Huw Edwards to interview Spider-Man and bring more light to the heart of Spider-Man. }

Seeing this was interesting.
