Considering the fact that Beruel had been quite a young Fairy when I knew him, he would still have quite a while to live.

Knowing his personality, it was unlikely that he would simply let the matter slide. It was a matter of his pride, after all.

Beruel was an absolute king who had now lost everything. There was no way he would just let it all go.

That was why I was so surprised—as well as slightly worried—that he had gone completely off the grid.

"Why do you think I have an alliance with the Beast folk? He dares not try anything with this place!"

I gulped and nodded instantly.

Jane was right. Even an idiot like Beruel knew not to mess with those guys.

'I'm probably just overthinking things again.' I smiled, shrugging his image off my mind.

"You've done well to plan so far ahead."

"Well, it's not like there's anyone else who'll do the job." She sighed.

"Ah, so that's why you're still President, even after so long?"

My Fairy Friend nodded vehemently.
