Task

As he sat down, he thought of the battle he just thought, he was dissatisfied with how long it took him. He was trying to think of ways to do it better, and more effective.

As Adrian was deep in thought, he didn't notice that the merchant was coming towards him, with a polite smile "Hey kid! I have something to ask of you!"

Adrian snapped out of his thought, and just looked at the merchant, like saying 'go on!'.

"The beast you just killed, would you mind selling it to me?" The tiger had some precious furs, and at the size this tiger was, he could earn a lot. "I will of course pay a good price! ... hmm, what would you say to 2 gold coins?"

Adrian didn't really mind though, he couldn't carry the tiger, so might as well just sell it to the merchant. Adrian just gave Brotus a small nod, as Brotus saw the nod, he smiled brightly.

Adrian was curious, and was about to ask where he would keep the tiger. Before he could ask though, his eyes opened in shock to see what was going on before him.

Right before his eyes, the beast disappeared from the ground. The reason for that, was brotus. He opened a small back he had around his waist, and it sucked the tiger inside.

Brotus looked over at Adrian again, and saw his amazed look "HAHAHA, Kid! Have you never seen a spatial pouch before?" As he heard Brotus, his amazed face, turned back to his cold face again.

"No, I have not" He tried to sound as uninterested as possible, since he didn't really want to talk to this merchant at the moment.

"Oh, It is something almost all adventurers and merchants has" As Brotus said, it was a very common thing in this world. It was a very useful item after all. "But the one I have here, is one with smaller space in it, since the bigger ones are too expensive!"

"Oh, that is cool" Adrian was very interested, and he would definitely get one himself, since it was tiring to carry the spear all around. It was often in the way when he was running, it would often get stuck in low hanging branches.

"I can see that you are interested, I can give you mine, if you do a thing for me!" Brotus looked at Adrian with some very sly eyes "I might also throw in a little gold!"

Adrian looked at him suspiciously "Depends on what you want me to do" He was very interested in the pouch, so he would almost do anything. "But you should really know, i am not good at anything other than fighting!"

"Hahaha, that is also the thing I want you to do!" Brotus was very excited, since he was half way to his goal, since he already had Adrians attention. "Me, my daughter and son is going to travel to the capital after this little venture! I would like for you to go with us, to train my son" He looked at Adrian with a polite smile, and a expectant look.

"Does he even want to train?" Adrians first impression of Brotus' son was, that he would never do anything.

"He does want to train, he is just a coward!" Brotus said, with an annoyed looked, and threw a glance at his son "His bravery stat is also his lowest one at 2, his other stats are 6+ though".

"Is he okay with using the spear then, because that is the only thing i know of!" Adrian didn't know anything other than training his body, fighting with a spear and then, training a bit more.

"Don't worry about that, please just let him join you in the body training routine, and give him a few tips" Brotus really wanted his son to get stronger, so that he could protect himself.

Adrian thought about it, and just having someone join you for training, and then earn cash though it, was actually some easy money.

"Yeah sure, let him join my training, I WILL make him strong" He gave a small evil grin. He was a little excited to have a training partner, so he could have some 'fun'.

The small grin Adrian gave Brotus, infected him, and he gave a small grin as well. They both looked at Brotus' son, and he felt shivers running through his whole body.

Adrian and Brotus walked over to him. "So, you are the kid joining me for training for now".

He was just looking at Adrian with a questioning gaze "Yeah Henrick, he is going to act like your 'teacher' until we get to the capital" His father said, looking at him with a sly and evil look.

Henrick had seen the mad training that Adrian did that early morning, and he was getting kind of scared. "You will enjoy this son!" He would definitely not enjoy this. He was ready to cry. He had a tearful look in his eyes "Oh look at this Adrian, he is so excited he is crying!" Brotus had fun.

While Adrian had gone a little away, 'How did I get this close to him, even after trying to stay cold?'. He had really tried his best not to get closer to the merchant, but somehow, the merchant got closer to him, through the spatial bag.
