The Captain's Wish

Despite the jokes from Jennie and Indra, Captain Dharma continued to investigate the entire HR-17 room.

Inside the room, they also found spare parts in several large drawers attached to one of the walls of the room—the wall opposite the room's only entrance.

Not only the spare parts in the form of hardware from the body parts of the humanoid robots but also small components. At least, Captain Dharma found a hundred pieces of memory stick neatly arranged, in a transparent square container in one of the drawers on the top cabinet.

The captain examined the container. There is a caption that reads: HR-17 Artificial Drive Memory. In other words, the hundred fingernail-sized memory sticks were spare brains for the four humanoid robots that were still asleep, waiting to be activated.

The HR-17 robot storage room can't be accessed by anyone, except with the help of the SC45 master computer, which is still in Ryan's 'captive'. At least, that was the conclusion the captain came to.

"Hey, Cap," Hyker suddenly called over the intercom.

"What's wrong, Hyker?" replied Captain Dharma while continuing to pay attention to some other spare parts in the room.

"Can you come here?"

"Just wait," said the captain. "I'll be there."

"All right, Cap."

Captain Dharma asked Jennie and Indra to immediately get out of the HR-17 robot storage room.

"Okay, Jen, Indra… let's just leave these robots alone. Later on, wait until Aios is awakened again."

"Okay, Cap," said Indra and Jennie almost at the same time.

At the large glass door that separates the second room and the first room, Captain Dharma along with Indra and Jennie again met with Vivian and Wilma.

"You two have finished checking all the things?"

"All complete, Cap," Vivian replied with a big smile.

"Get some rest," continued the captain as he walked to the first storage room. The door swung open, hissing softly. "Don't push yourself."

"Aye, Cap," Vivian and Wilma nodded in unison.

Indra and Jennie became intimate again, both of them accompanied the captain's steps towards the door out ahead. Behind the two, Vivian and Wilma followed.

"How's it going, Cap?" asked Angela – a twenty-four-year-old woman – to Captain Dharma. "Everything under control?"

"Aah," Captain Dharma smiled at the girl. "Not a big thing. For the time being, don't bother that room. Just leave it as it was."

"Copy that," Angela nodded.

"What about your notes?" asked Indra as well.

"Hey," Captain Dharma rolled his eyes, looking at Indra. "I'm going to the cockpit. "The rest, I'll leave all to you two." The captain pointed to Indra, then pointed to Jennie as well. "Don't keep fighting. As lovers, you should be more affectionate."

Indra laughed crisply at this, Jennie smiled a little. While the other five of their colleagues were shaking their heads.

The captain left the storage room, leaving Indra and Jennie with their fellow logistics supervisory officers.

"How is your work, Ann?" Indra asked Angela.

"My notes are done," Angela replied, then stretched her body in such a way, releasing the aches.

"Sam?" Indra turned to another girl.

Sammy, twenty-three years old, sat behind a desk in the right corner. The girl nodded in response to the chief storage supervisor's question.

"Everything is fine," she said.

"And you, Mince?" Again, Indra turned his gaze to the last girl sitting behind the desk on the left side of Angela's desk. "What about your notes?"

"Just a little more," said the girl.

Mince – a twenty-two-year-old woman – stays focused with a virtual keyboard on her desk. A virtual keyboard with its unique laser color, five colors, as if a rainbow is divided into pieces.

"If y'all want to rest," Mince said, her eyes not leaving her computer screen. "Just go ahead. I want to finish my work first."

"Hmm," Indra nodded. "In that case, well," he looked at all his comrades. "As the captain said earlier," he said. "Get some rest first, all of you. I think we may soon be on an endless journey. Now, just prepare yourselves with adequate rest while you can."

"All right, all right," Angela stood up, turning off the computer on her desk. "You are the boss."

Indra laughed, shaking his head. Well, that's true, Indra muttered in his heart. Especially in these two rooms, three when added to the newly discovered room—HR-17—Indra is the boss of those there. And Jennie is his vice. But if they leave the room, still, the big boss is Captain Dharma.

As he walked down the corridor to the cockpit, Captain Dharma thought about the four humanoid robots in the secret vault earlier.

It is certain that the robots of the latest type will be able to be used if only they can control the main computer of the aircraft itself.

Looking closely, Captain Dharma is quite sure that the four HR-17 robots have very sophisticated frames and body parts, and must be very strong. So, it is certain that if Aios can be mastered, the four robots will become formidable guards to protect this SC45 spaceship, as the only vehicle on which they all depend for their remaining lives.

"Hyker," the captain called.

However, Captain Dharma still wants to use the four HR-17 robots, just in case to protect the plane from Federation attacks. Although the possibility is very small, the captain remains optimistic. He firmly believed in the ability of Ryan, Ryan would find a way to dominate Aios.

Hopefully so.

"Aye, Captain," Hyker said over the intercom in the corridor where Captain Dharma was.

"Please call Ryan," said Captain Dharma giving orders to Hyker. "Ask him to come to the cockpit room too."

"Copy that!"

At that time, in his room, in the bathroom, Ryan was whistling a little while rubbing his body with a kind of soap without foam, under the water from the shower above his head.

The man was completely naked, he didn't feel the least bit awkward if the girl who was his roommate could enter the bathroom and see him naked. After all, Ryan had heard Suzanne say they had other interests in the main cabin.

So, he enjoyed his bath in his way. Enjoy every drop of water from the shower that wets the body. Before someone's voice could be heard echoing through the intercom embedded in the ceiling of the room.

"Ryan, are you there?"

At first, Ryan thought someone had entered his room because he was too busy enjoying his bath.

Understandably, being able to shower only once a week—even once a month, while still on Earth, was a luxury, considering that clean water supplies were no longer readily available. Of course, taking a shower this time, Ryan enjoyed it so much.
