Data Update

"You can ask one or two from the storage room," Captain Dharma said to Hyker, "to help you, so you can do this faster."

"All right, Cap," Hyker said.

"Ask them to re-list everyone. After that, give the data to Ryan."

"Okay," Hyker nodded. With this, everyone would be under better scrutiny, he thought.

"Come with me," Captain Dharma asked Ryan to follow him.

Ryan followed the captain leaving the cockpit. Meanwhile, Hyker contacted one of the warehouses and logistics supervisors.

"Mince," Hyker said. "You hear me?"

"What is it, Hyker?"

Mince was still struggling with the computer in front of her when Hyker's voice called through the intercom on the ceiling.

"You miss me?"

"Damn…," Hyker laughed crisply. "Hey, listen. Find someone else, and list everyone on this plane. You can do that, right?"

"Uhh, too bad, man," Mince laughed softly because she was imagining something. "I can't. My work isn't done yet. You ask the others. Angela, Vivian, Jennie, or whoever. They are all done with their works."

"Okay, sweetie."

"Fuck you!"

Hyker laughed louder. Although he knew for sure, Mince didn't mean what she said.

"Ann, are you there?" This time, Hyker's voice was heard in the room where Angela was.

Angela had just finished taking a shower, still wearing the towel wrapped around her body. Her back black hair, flowing wet just behind her back.

"Can I help you, Hyker?"

"Are you free?" asked Hyker to be sure.

"Yeah, why?"

Angela removed her towel. Luckily there were no cameras or anything that could record her naked body.

Not only in that room, in all the private rooms of the crew and passengers, are also no hidden cameras. Except, the intercoms are each embedded in the ceiling.

The main crew in the cockpit, such as Hyker and Pical, who could access all the rooms from the screen on the dashboard in front of them, couldn't even see freely into any rooms.

Except, just a schematic that only shows the blue lines of the fuselage and the frame of each room. Meanwhile, for each individual on board the ship, it is represented by a large red dot, complete with a name bar description—for the time being, only the crew members have the names, while the others have not been recorded.

For this reason, Hyker needed someone to record everyone on the ship, including re-registering the crew like Hyker himself.

And Angela knew for sure about this, and so did the rest of the crew. Because of that, the girl was casually naked in her room. After all, the crew's room in charge of storage and logistics was in a different place from the other rooms. Lined in front of the entrance of the large storage room itself, separated by a two-meter-wide hallway.

"I need two mates to re-list all the passengers on the ship," Hyker explained. "You can do that?"

"Okay, no problem. Who's the other one?"

At least, Angela could guess the need to register everyone on the ship. Of course, she thought.

"Do you mind if you have to find another?"

"Alright, alright."

After all, Angela knew for sure, that Hyker must be busy watching the movement of their spacecraft. Burdening the man's mind with trivial things like this is certainly not a good thing for the safety of the ship.

"Thank you, Beautiful," Hyker said, ending with a laugh.

"Are you seducing me?" Angela snorted with laughter as she chose the clothes she would wear.

"Oh, can I?"

"Damn it, you framed me!"

"Alright, Ann. Just make it quick!" In his seat, Hyker shook his head as he rubbed his chest. Damn you, Ann, the man muttered to himself.

"Don't worry."

Back to Captain Dharma and Ryan. The two of them were walking down the upper-level corridor, intending to descend to the middle level.

"Don't worry," Captain Dharma said to Ryan. "In that room, everything you need to change the Aios program will be available. The newest computer, the most advanced C-Pad, it's all there. Except, a programmer like you."

"I heard," said Ryan, echoing the captain's words. "The one who was the programmer for this plane fell victim when you and your crew tried to fly this plane."

Captain Dharma chuckled. "No," he said. "Where did you hear such a thing?"

"Earlier, when we were leaving Earth's atmosphere, I heard one of your men say this."

"Aah," Captain Dharma nodded slightly.

The two of them now descended the line of stairs to the middle level, past the main cabin.

"It's not like that," the captain continued. "The main programmer of this spacecraft is still out of town. You know, when we seized this ship this morning, that person should have been on his way to Pangandaran Castle."

"Oh, I see, huh?" Ryan nodded.

"And, yeah," Captain Dharma smiled faintly. "Maybe he was a victim. But, victims of the ferocity of Mother Nature's rampage."

"Pity."

"Not really," the captain denied the man's sympathy.

"Don't tell me that he also…"

Captain Dharma nodded again. "That's how it is," he said. "The programmer who was originally going to be a part of this ship is a licker of the Pangandaran's ass. The kind of person you don't want to know."

"Good for me," Ryan smiled as he shook his head.

The two of them left the main cabin, continuing to move forward—the part that aligns with the snout of the large plane itself. After passing through two other automatic doors, now the two of them arrived in front of another large door.

On the door was a large sign that read: Do not enter the room except under expert supervision.

"And here we are," said Captain Dharma.

The captain was standing right in the middle of the door. The captain's face turned to a device embedded in the center of the door. The device is a kind of face and retina scanner.

A red laser light appeared the next second after Captain Dharma brought his face closer to the device. Laser light scanned the captain's face and retina shape. After that, the light on the device, which was red, has now turned green.

At the same time, the door hissed, moving openly in both directions. Captain Dharma moved his head slightly, signaling to Ryan for the man to follow his steps into the room.

"Welcome to the Aios room," said Captain Dharma to Ryan.
