Cunning on Cunning
James was already in his spaceship, standing proudly in the cockpit while gazing at the magnificent building of The Station.
His mind was much calmer at this moment. Moreover, with the blessing of Hendry Covern, James is increasingly excited and motivated to carry out his plan. But not for Yuma, he thought. That one slave wasn't going to be released by James, at least, until he had finished his assignment in outer space.
"There's still so much I want to do with that bastard," James muttered. And the curved line on his lips drew wider and wider.
"Commander," called a crew member.
James only moved his head slightly, looking at his subordinate over the tip of his shoulder.
"Our ship's ready to take off, sir."
"Good," James said and looked back out the cockpit protective glass. "Carry on!"
