Perhaps face each other

After standing there for a while, she found it unbearable; hearing them laughing and chatting about something the both of them like: a hobby they had in common, made her feel envious.

She was envious of Mira. She wished she was in her shoes; the person Zachary could talk with this about, but she didn't have the slightest idea about the whole thing altogether. That angered her and for that she could not stand seeing them talk so joyfully.

It was almost time for class, about 4 minutes left now.

Mira was a top student, she would not come late to school. It was strange for her to walk so carefree when class was about to start.

Adrienne knew that since she got the best attendance award in the end ceremony, last year. That means she has not come late to class, not even a single time. The fact that she was willing to come late also says another thing... but that was just a hunch.

She glanced at them a little from behind the fence but immediately changed her mind after doing so. An overwhelming feeling of insecurity filled her body. All she wanted at that moment was to vanish from there.

She watched them together filled with remorse and detection.

She turned around, taking big steps in the school's direction. She did not want to see no more. What she had seen was more than enough. Mira putting her hand on his shoulder telling him how much she admired him. Him softly talking to her while complimenting her her work. All that sweat-talk between them left a scar behind. She did not wish to speak to him anymore.

Adrienne was far away when they turned around the corner. However, even if he could guess or recognize the person standing further away from their back, he was too distracted by Mira to notice anything.

And so, Adrienne continued walking depression, and Zachary chatted happily without noticing anything while right behind her.

She looked downward, not wanting anyone to see her face like this. Everything was blurry, and got blurrier - she could only see the color of her shoes, later on.

Almost tripped, she kicked the stone instead and rushed up the stairs where the bathrooms were. She locked the door and looked straight up in the mirror. She then blinked a few times to try remove them but her eyes were filled with this salty liquid.

While on the other hand: "...Students! Class is about to start. Coming late means interrupting the teachers while they speak. That is not acceptable, I was expecting something better from you - and especially from you, Mira."

We stayed there for two hours. Returning back home took about 40 minutes and that is if we'd take it easy. Therefore it was relaxing; it felt like getting an exercise done while hanging out with a friend and at the same time doing something you wish to do in your free time. In my case that was to read.

I watched Zachary draw carefully as we sat under the shadow of a tree.

Seeing him drawing the small details as he was so focused calmed me. We chatted about some things in between and had something to drink. Later on we ate some of the sandwiches I had made.

The weather was nice, not too cold, not too warm.

After finishing our food, the clouds started to cover the sun and it began to get colder and colder. We packed up, gripped our bikes from the handles and walked them between the two of us as we wandered a little.

The more steps we took the warmer our bodies got. Soon, we found a different location where the sun shone. We sat in between the sunlight and shadow. You could see the relaxation in the air, just by looking our way.

The wind blew and flipped the pages on my book, and I lost track of were I was. I reread I couple pages to be frank but it didn't bother me at all. I took out my diary and wrote a couple quotes down as well as sentences I came up with that described the nature I was inspired and surrounded by. Everything was great.

Later I got a call from my mom asking me to come back.

I'd usually have my dinner at home so we didn't really bring any dinner with us. Only a little that was sufficient for the road and the time we stayed there. But that was more than enough.

"Hey, Zachi! I asked you a question, but you didn't respond." He looked at her and said: "Yeah, what was it again?" All he could thing of was Adrienne: where is she at the moment, at school or still on the way..?

"So? What do you say?" she repeated again.

"Hmm..? What, sorry. Could you say it again?" But the teacher came and interrupted.

If we rach 1k by tomorrow it'll be 2 chapters updated instead.
