"AAAAAHHH!!!!"

Ariel continued screaming until his throat was painful, the others watched him in silence and pained expressions, some even crying silently.

Ariel stood up and glared at Tori.

"It was the human wasn't it?!"

Tori flinched and averted her gaze.

"Answer me damn it!"

"Yes... It was..."

Tori replied and collapsed to her knees.

"But why?! Ava was so kind to her why did she kill her and left all of you alive?!"

Ariel roared and stomped toward the group.

"She... She ate the food that Ava brought her and..."

"She started attacking all of us out of nowhere... She was like a completely different person."

"Then she... ripped off Ava's wings, because..."

Tori repeated Jane's exact words:

"White wings are the most valuable."

[!!]

Berkah clenched his jaw upon hearing the appalling words coming from Tori.

"..."

"Because of that... She killed my little sister?!"

*CRACKLE!*

Ariel set his body ablaze with Mana.

"Which direction did she go?! I'll kill her!"

He shouted, and began running toward the door.

But Berkah swiftly placed two of his fingers on Ariel's neck.

*bzzzt!*

He sent an electrical shock that rendered Ariel unconscious.

Berkah glanced toward Tori and the others.

"Please take Ariel and go back to the village, and tell them about everything that happened."

Berkah barked his orders and made his way to the exit.

"But... What about you?"

Tori asked in a worried tone, her body still trembling from all the trauma.

"I'll be back... Don't worry."

He put on a fake smile and stepped outside the clubhouse.

[These poor kids...]

[What they witnessed will scar them for life, especially Ariel...]

[Fuck... This is all my fault.]

[No... That fucking woman... it's all her fault!]

[Why would she do that after all the kindness they showed her?!]

Berkah walked to the edge of the large branch and focused his gaze into the distance.

[I can't sense her in my Mana Dome, she must be further than it can reach.]

[I'll have trouble finding her if I run on foot.]

[I need... A higher vantage point.]

He glanced at the pitch black wings on his back.

[I could use Thunder Step but... I might need to conserve my Mana for later.]

Berkah was not only planning to find Jane but he also intended on following her so she can lead him to others just like her.

So he wanted to conserve as much of his Mana as he could, just in case a fight breaks out.

*Flap!*,*Flap!*

He beat his pitch black wings and generated a gust of wind.

"Come on, you got this..."

He muttered words of encouragement to himself and took steady breaths.

He poured all of his strength into his wings until finally, his body slowly levitated off the branch.

"Okay... Now I just need to fix my posture and..."

He extended his wings to their limit, before beating them with all his might.

*FLAP!*

[!!]

*FWOSH!!!*

He tore through the air like he had been shot out of the barrel of a gun.

"Woah!"

In a matter of seconds Berkah was high up in the air, the figure of the clubhouse beneath him appeared as small as an insect.

"Okay... I'll just circle around the forrest until she's in range."

*Flap!*,*Flap.*

Berkah's wings propelled him forward and he began circling around the large, dense forrest for nearly 5 minutes.

[!!]

Finally, Berkah sensed Jane's presence, though he could not see her due to the tree leaves veiling the forrest floors beneath them.

[She's running under the cover of trees in case we come looking for her.]

[What a cunning bitch you are, Jane.]

Berkah's eyes turned bitter cold.

He slowly and quietly descended toward a large tree, a suitable distance away from Jane.

*Tap.*

He quietly landed on a tree branch and finally saw Jane wobbling a short distance away, her right hand favoring the gaping wound on her abdomen.

And on her left hand she carried...

[!!]

Ava's bloodied pure white wings.

"That... Fucking bitch..."

Berkah's body trembled and his blood churned, his pale skin adopted a reddish hue.

It took all of his will to not fly over to her and rip her to shreds.

He quietly followed behind her, ensuring that she remained within his Mana Dome.

Jane persistently wobbled forward for the next 3 hours, with Berkah patiently following behind her.

And then finally, she heard the sound of the ocean waves crashing against the beach sands.

Her face turned from bitter and dreadful to bright and joyful.

The visage of Jane smiling only served to fuel Berkah's rage.

She then tore off the fabric on her torso and used it to tie Ava's wings on her waist.

Jane joyfully increased her pace and wobbled toward the ocean and jumped into the waters without hesitation.

"Where the hell is she going?..."

Berkah muttered under his breath, Watching Jane swim toward a very large boulder, or rather, a sea stack.

Berkah narrowed his eyes and saw Jane take a deep breath after reaching the sea stack.

[!!]

Jane suddenly dived.

*Flap!*

Berkah flew into the sky to get closer and landed on top of the large sea stack.

[Ah... I see...]

Berkah sensed that the sea stack was hollow and he could sense Jane moving around inside of it.

"Why would she go through all that trouble? Why not just swim around it?"

Berkah glanced around until he felt something that resembled a Mana Dome.

"What is that... Some sort of barrier?"

The barrier in question was right next to him on top of the sea stack, dividing it in half.

Berkah extended his palm towards it and it felt tangible, but he had no trouble putting his arm through it.

Gazing into the distance he saw the barrier stretching for an unknown distance and it also divided the ocean, spanning thousands of kilometers beneath it.

Except for the hollow sea stack beneath his feet.

"I see... There's a gap in this barrier, and I guess only inhabitants of this place like me can come and go freely."

Berkah muttered to himself, still tracing the movements of Jane beneath him.

After a few minutes, Jane appeared at the small opening on the other side, riding a canoe, her face distorting every time she rowed.

Berkah lowered his posture and quietly watched Jane move in her canoe, his patience like that of a Tiger stalking its prey.

"That's right you bitch... lead me to the others, it's not enough that you alone die... I am going to kill evey single one of you sick fuckers."

He muttered, his breath hot from all his rage.
