Ep.19 Dungeon Training

Once Mike woke up the next day he noticed Raiu was lying on his chest and said as Raiu opened its eyes to see Mike waking up

"Morning bud today we'll be going to the shop as we have to prepare for the grand opening in a few days"

Raiu yawned and slithered away out of the room towards the kitchen as Mike followed him to the living room where there were 4 people wearing masks and all black clothes all tied up and said as he sat on the couch infront of the 4 random strangers

"Now…. Who do you work for and why were you in my apartment?"

One of the men just yelled and said in German

("Go to hell! Even if you could understand us we wouldn't tell you anything")

Mike sighed and responded in perfect German saying as Raiu looked at the 4 men like they were snacks

("so your German, well I can understand you but if you don't want to talk then I'll have to feed you to my familiar")

Raiu started slithering up one of the men and wrapped around one of their necks and started squeezing tightly and just as Raiu was about to swallow the man's head whole a younger man yelled out as he struggled to get out of his bonds

("Wait wait wait wait! I'll talk just don't kill him")

Raiu loosened its grip around the man's neck as Mike commanded and Mike said as he removed the mask of the man to reveal himself to be in his teens

("Why were you waiting inside of my apartment? Who do you work for?")

The teen looked at Raiu who looked ready to kill the man and looked back at Mike and said

("We were supposed to watch over you on order of Ms.Goldren")

Mike heard Goldren and slapped the man and knocked him out with the help of [Lesser Strength] and immediately called scarlet to hear her say

"Hi Mike, what can I help you with today?"

Mike broke one of the men's hand causing him to yell in pain before Mike gagged him and said

"You should tread lightly on my tolerance for this, I don't want you having men in my home watching me"

Scarlet said with surprise

"They were placed there under my command to protect you since the incident happened with Mr Grames but how did you find out?"

Mike untied the men and said after they left through the front door

"I got a new skill, now I'm going to have my breakfast without anyone bothering me and swing on by my shop later for the presentation that I spoke of yesterday and…. Violet can come too as long as she can control herself"

Scarlet said before hanging up

"Okay I'll come by later and don't worry about Violet"

After scarlet had hung up she turned around to see her family having breakfast at the table in her penthouse that was downtown and heard her mother say as scarlet sat down

"Are you going to see that boy again? You seem to like him a lot if your so interested in him"

Scarlet blushed a little and said as she hit violets hand to stop her from stealing a slice of toast

"I'm only worried about Gideon Grames since he has a problem with his ego and I fear he won't stop with Mike"

Violet puffed out her chest and said as she flexed her arms as they grew some black and white scales

"If he causes any problems for Mike, I'll smash his face up again for Little Mikey"

Cindy stood up and hit violet on the head with a broom and said before she sat down

"No powers at the table, dad you seem to be quite silent right now"

Edward just was looking at his newspaper and said as he was filling out a crossword

"I would like to see the boy again but after what scarlet said had happened, I doubt he would be in the best mood for unexpected visitors"

Scarlet looked at the table with a saddened expression and said

"Especially after he found the men I had placed at his residence for his protection, I'm such an idiot"

Cindy held scarlets hand and said

"You did what you thought was right, I'm sure he appreciates you for wanting him safe and sound"

Scarlet smiled and wiped away a tear and said as she went to get dressed

"Thank you mother but I have to get ready and Violet, you are coming with so long as you don't cause trouble"

Violet finished swallowing a few waffles and said

"Where are we going?"

Scarlet turned before she entered the bathroom to take a shower

"We're going to see Mike at his shop"

After hearing this Violet immediately ran into her room up stairs while knocking over the table with all of the food landing on Edward

Cindy laughed at the scene and got up as a towel suddenly appeared out of nowhere in her hand and said as she passed it to Edward to clean himself up

"Well I have to prepare for the next auction next week, please clean this up dad thanks and I love you"

Edward started cleaning up the mess and said to himself

'Just like your mother, i wonder what that boy did to my granddaughters….. well as long as he doesn't hurt them then I will help him when I can"

3 Hours later Mike was waiting outside of his shop for scarlet and violet when he heard sam's voice saying

"Mike is that you? Oh my god hi"

Mike turned to his left to see Sam and a few others wearing sweaters with a Phoenix symbol on them

And said as he closed his eyes

"Now you are annoying me at my workplace now?"

Sam looked at the shop and said

"This is your shop? What do you provide for your business?"

Mike kept his eyes closed and said as he felt Raiu coil around his arm

"I haven't opened my shop to the public yet because I have a few things to do before I go public for my shop"

Sam was about to ask Mike a question when she was suddenly kicked in the face by Violet and was sent flying a few feet away before crashing in a wooden table and heard scarlet say as she stood in front of Mike with her arms crossed

"Well, seems we meet again Sam"

Sam cracked her neck and stood up before she said as she wiped some blood from her nose

"Scarlet, seems your sister is still acting first and asking questions later"

Violet got in a boxing stance and said as her eyes changed

"What are you doing here"

Sam rubbed her jaw and said

"I was in the neighbourhood when I saw Mike here, why are you guys here?"

Scarlet placed her hand on violet's shoulder before violet got out of a boxing stance and said as she pointed at Mike behind her who looked like he was about to fall asleep if if wasn't already

"We have personal business here and we would appreciate you leaving now so goodbye"

Sam passed scarlet and violet with her guild members following closely behind and stopped in front of Mike a blew a kiss before they left

Once Sam had left Mike opened his eyes and said as he unlocked the shop

"It seems I'll have more stalkers to take care of"

Violet flexed her arms and said with a proud look on her face

"Don't worry little Mikey, I'll get rid of them if they bother you"

Scarlet let of a sigh and hit violet on the head with a bat before she said to Mike as he entered the shop

"Is your presentation ready?"

Mike simply nodded and closed the door after scarlet and violet entered the shop and said as he led them to the training room

"I'll have my grand opening tomorrow morning if you would like to come but let's get to it, find a seat and place a headset on then I can start it up"

Scarlet and violet looked confused before Mike opened up the training room and pulled out a tablet that was on the wall and said

"Please take a seat and enjoy we'll start with something easy and slow since it's just the two of you"

Scarlet was excited and hastily sat down and put on a headset with Violet doing the same in the chair next to her before Mike turned to the screen on the tablet saying

Mike selected the goblin dungeon to start off with and said as scarlet and violet we're loading into the dungeon
