The Girl in the Carriage

As the Crimson Eye Wolf King tried to bite him, Yi Zheng turned during that split second and grabbed a thick tree branch and shoved it vertically inside it's mouth. Roar! The Crimson Eye Wolf King couldn't move it's jaws so it randomly swung around it's claws

Yi Zheng then ran and slid beneath it's stomach and gave it a blow Bang! Awhoo! The pain of it's stomach along with the branch in it's mouth caused it to swing around even more wildly as it's eyes became a darker shade of red

The wild swinging of the Crimson Eye King broke the tree branch after a while, Yi Zheng then found his chance to take a swing at it's head before grabbing it's tail and spinning it. Spinning it for a while Yi Zheng threw it at a tree and gravely injured it, however Yi Zheng himself stopped moving as he was dizzy from the spinning as well

"Hey brat, that wasn't necessary was it? Now your dizzy too you dimwit." his master remarked

"Ahaha, I just wanted to try it out. Never doing that again, I don't feel so good." Yi Zheng replied. After his dizziness disappeared both him and the Crimson Eye Wolf King exchanged blow for blow once again. With each punch, Yi Zheng made a tiny improvement in his mastery of the Iron Dragon Fist technique. After reaching a certain stage he decided to end the fight as his improvements were next to none

"Alright let's end this!" he shouted as he gathered his qi into his right fist. Yi Zheng jumped at the Wolf King before taking a swing at it and ending it's life. Awhoo! Yi Zheng's blow didn't even allow for it to twitch before it died, he then fixed his breathing before putting the Wolf King's corpse inside his inter spacial necklace

"Alright kid, go take a bath in the lake near the den." God Yuhao said to him

Yi Zheng then ran to to nearby lake and threw his clothes on the floor before taking a dip inside the lake. "Ah! nothing's better than a bath after hunting, though it's not exactly to my liking since it's a bit cold." he thought as blood came off his body and mixed with the water

After taking a bath for a while, Yi Zheng jumped out from the lake and changed into a new set of clothes before washing his used clothes in the lake. Finishing his washing, he then hanged the clothes around trees near the lake to dry

Once his clothes dried, he went back to his original cave as dusk approached. Taking out the corpse of a few Blood Eye Wolves, he extracted all the hide, claws etc and put them back into the necklace and roasted the meat over a campfire

Taking a bite of the Blood Eye Wolf meat he roasted, Yi Zheng exclaimed "This tastes great! Plus eating a lot of it is beneficial for cultivators, no wonder the rich families always fight over Savage Beast Meat no matter what stage it's at."

After his meal, Yi Zheng extinguished the campfire and started cultivating the Heaven Suppressing Scripture. As dawn arised, Yi Zheng woke from his cultivation and had a meal before he left to hunt more Savage Beasts

Deeper inside the forest, about 1000 li in, A carriage could be seen being pulled by 2 horses and a driver behind the horses. A dozen or so men could also be seen walking in formation with the carriage

After a while the carriage stopped as a stage 5 Savage Beast stopped above it, Coowh! Coowh! A Silver Scaled Hawk using it's astounding speed of 2 li per minute to kill the men guarding the carriage

Yi Zheng arrived at a nearby tree and watched in silence, the driver who seemed to be an old man wearing a bamboo hat stood up and released his aura. The aura of a Peak Foundation Establishment expert could be felt in the air, freezing the Silver Scaled Hawk in place before it's head left it's body in a split second

"What's a Peak Foundation Establishment stage expert doing in the forest? The person in the carriage must be important if his just a driver." he thought

The old man then said "You hiding in the trees, you can come out now". "Guess there's no hiding from an expert at my level." Yi Zheng thought as he jumped down

"Greetings senior, what can I do for you?" Yi Zheng asked

"This forest is dangerous for a junior only at the second layer of the body tempering stage, I suggest you go back to your family." the old man said

"Aahah, this junior would love to, however as you already know I'm much to weak to travel back by myself, alas my family live in the city." Yi Zheng replied

"May I trouble senior to travel with you until we are out of the forest?" he continued

A feminine voice could be heard from inside the carriage, "Hmph! You can travel with us but you cannot come near me." the voice said

"Oh? A girl? From her voice she seems to be around my age." Yi Zheng thought before replying "Many thanks benefactor, I will walk next to the horses."

The old man turned to Yi Zheng and said "Your welcome, I've been quite bored these past few days with no one to talk to." before returning to his seat and continue their journey

Yi Zheng then walked along with the carriage, his master inside the necklace said "Oh? Your going to go back to your clan now? I would've waited a bit more but I guess it's fine."

"Yea, I've been away for a while, I need to see how my parents are doing." he replied as he walked
