"Good, Youpi-sama is not watching" - said the soldier happily, but his expression quickly changed when he felt how his vision, seemed to split.

"Kon? Are you okay?" - asked the other soldier as he watched his friend's body split into pieces - "Kon!"

"Thank you, now that I know where your home is, your services are no longer required" - Cloud said neutrally as he made his shadow devour the two soldiers, only to look in the direction of the camouflaged cave, only to see a familiar silhouette - "Found you ~"

He could feel the terror of the "woman" in the distance with every step he took in her direction.

"Hello, Neko-chan" - cloud said with the most sadistic smile he could give her - "Do you want to go out and play?"

Though after he said those words, he heard a high-pitched squeak.

Youpi was not very happy with the idea, but at the same time he could feel his skin freeze from the deep terror he was instinctively feeling. He finally understood why Neferpitou was acting so strange.

He had been chosen because he was among the first who had shown breakthroughs with the Nen, in fact, he had been the first Chimera Ant to manage to use this energy in a primitive way, demonstrating its potential.

"Hai, Rammot-sama!" - The soldiers exclaimed.

"Hmph! Until they finally arrive" - said Rammot with a frown as he watched Welfin appear on the scene along with his squadron - "And I thought you would try to escape!"

"I think you're getting a little over your head now that you've become squad leader, maggot" - Welfin said neutrally as the soldiers behind him, looked hostilely at the rabbit man.

"Just stay out of my way, Welfin" - growled Rammot neutrally - "This is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate my skills."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say" - Welfin said with boredom, only to tremble slightly because his instincts were telling him to run away as fast as he could.

He didn't want to admit it, but deep down, Welfin was a coward who looked for every possible way he could to be able to save his skin, and now, the instincts that had saved his life more than once, were telling him to run without worrying about his appearance.

"Leader?" - One of the soldiers behind Welfin asked as he noticed the change in their leader's expression.

"Are you afraid?" - Rammot asked with disdain, however his expression changed to one of happiness when he saw Welfin turn around and retreat at full speed - "Ha ha ha! I knew it!"

"You can insult me all you want, however I'll just give you a warning, you'd better run as far away as possible if you want to live" - Welfin said seriously as he ran away as fast as his limbs would allow him to.

"We are not weak insects" - Rammot said neutrally as the soldiers looked at each other.

"I will follow Welfin-sama's advice, he has never been wrong about his strategic retreats" - said a soldier, only to fall to the ground inert after saying those words.

"That is the fate of the weak" - growled Rammot with hostility as he looked around - "Now that their leader escaped, I'm going to take control of this squad. Anyone else who wishes to escape?"

The soldiers were only silent as they stood on guard so they could attack when they saw the intruder.

"Perfect, now let's go" - said Rammot as he marched along with his group to face against the invader, not knowing that those would be his last seconds of life.

"Shidore" - said Colt as he looked at the welded ant, who was literally an ant, not like the other members of the colony - "No, Queen."

Shidore looked up confused because she didn't understand why the squad leader was calling her that way, although inside she was feeling a strange resonance with that name.

Colt looked at the little ant, then looked at Hina, the Chimera Ant who was the girl's direct commander - "I want to take her."

"Rammot discarded her for not being strong enough, so you can do whatever you want with her" - replied Hina, the Chimera Ant who seemed to be a cute blonde girl, being one of the few who could pass as human if she wanted to.

Colt gritted his teeth as he saw how the little ant's body was slightly bruised, possibly a product of the beating Rammot gave him - "Are you okay?"

Shidore quickly rolled into a fetal position before he began to shake.

Colt was silent as countless memories popped into his mind - "Queen, Onii-chan will protect you, this time she won't fail."

Shidore slowly looked up and felt a few memories appear in her mind - "Onii-chan."

"Queen" - Colt said with a small smile as he opened his eyes in terror because he could feel his body trembling with fear, a fear he recognized immediately.

"Onii-chan" - repeated Shidore with difficulty because she couldn't speak very well, in fact, she most of the time communicated with signs - "I'm scared".

"Relax, I'll protect you this time" - said Colt with a smile while wiping his sweat because he knew the danger they were in, after all, that beast had found them, and as far as he knew, there was no way they could escape.

Hina also felt a deep fear run through every fiber of her body as she felt death getting closer and closer - "What is that?"

"That, is our end, unless we manage to escape or make our presences almost null and undetected" - Colt answered as he looked towards the beginning of the cave, only to see how Welfin ran in his direction - "What are you doing here, and where are the others?"

"I have no idea, but I think they are dead" - replied Welfin as he looked at his partner, of all the other squad leaders, Colt was the most sympathetic.
