30 minutes later, Cloud had finished consuming the body of the [Rocky Dragon], without leaving a single piece of flesh.

Menchi was surprised and frightened after seeing the blond's voracity, but quickly calmed down because it was obvious that whatever Cloud was, it not only had enormous self-control and strength, but also intelligence comparable to human.

Cloud slowly opened his eyes when he heard the last information, only to start feeling his body and notice that it was now not only heavier, but also harder, but this was compensated with a massive reduction in his overall speed.

If before he could attack 20 times per second, now he could only attack 5 times, although this wasn't just bad news, because the increase in the weight of his body, made the damage produced by his fists massive.

Cloud slowly let out a sigh when he thought about this as he shook his head, after all, this situation made his fighting style extremely limited compared to the past.

"Are you okay?" - Kyoko asked as she walked over to her lover.

"I'm fine, I'm just feeling a little heavy" - Cloud replied as he shook his head.

"I would be too if I ate a creature over 5 tons" - replied Menchi as she looked at the strange blond and wondered what kind of monster could devour such a huge creature.

Cloud frowned when he noticed the change in Menchi's manner, so he quickly shot a glance at Kyōka because she was the most carefree of the group.

"What, in case it couldn't have been Kyoko?" - Kyōka asked while folding her arms - "You're being too hard on me, Cloud."

Cloud kept his expression steady as he looked at the blue-haired woman, only to notice how she snorted in disdain.

"OK, yes it was me" - Kyōka replied as she looked at her lover - "I spoke out of turn and I'm sorry."

"What was it you said?" - Cloud asked, only this time he looked at Kyoko.

"She told her that you're not human, though she didn't say what race you were" - Kyoko answered as she sighed regretfully.

"I see" - nodded Cloud as he shot a bored look at his blue-haired companion - "I guess I don't gain anything by hiding it, not when some creatures live in the human world without a problem."

"Even some [magical beasts] are married to humans and have normal children" - Kyoko said calmly, only to notice how Menchi's eyes widened in surprise - "What, you didn't know that by any chance?"

"No" - replied Menchi while shaking her head.

"But if even some of the zodiac members are half [Magical Beasts]!" - Cloud said as he frowned.

"Really?" - Menchi asked in surprise, though she quickly felt the fog blocking her path mystically open up. She finally understood why some of her colleagues were animal-like in appearance.

"Ok, I think that's enough talk, so we'd better concentrate on what's really important" - said Cloud seriously - "Tell me, Menchi-san, what did we really come here to do?"

"What do you mean?" - Menchi asked with a frown.

"I know very well that we didn't come here to look for any kind of object in this place" - said Cloud seriously - "My senses are extremely sharp, and my affinity with the earth is also high, so I can sense all kinds of movements of these ruins, but by no means can I sense any exotic object in this place, in fact, outside of this [Rocky Dragon], there is only one more inhabitant in this place, but unlike this thing, the little guy is completely harmless."

Menchi was silent as she listened to the blond's words, only to frown because she honestly didn't know what to do.

She trusted Cloud's words, but at the same time she trusted Netero's words.

"I guess you don't know anything either" - Cloud said while frowning as he noticed the woman's expression, only to shake his head - "Anyway, maybe we'll find out the truth when we get to the highest place in these ruins."

"The highest place?" - Menchi asked with surprise and curiosity.

"It's the place where the little guy is" - answered Cloud as the group continued to move towards the upper area of the site.

Fifteen minutes later, the group had finally reached their goal.

Kyoko was surprised to see how the area seemed to be covered in gold, although if one looked more closely, one would notice that it was just a thin golden layer with no value.

Kyōka was scanning the surroundings in search of the little one Cloud had mentioned, only to notice how at the back of the room, there was some sort of altar with a creature sleeping on top of it.

"Is that it?" - Menchi asked in surprise upon seeing the little creature - "It's a [Pixy Dragon]!"

"[Pixy Dragon]?" - Kyōka asked with a frown.

"Exactly, a [Pixy Dragon]!" - repeated Menchi as she looked with fascination at the small creature - "They are a sub-race of dragons that live on fruits, it is said that these creatures can reduce their size to that of a fairy, in other words, ta small as a human hand, and that thanks to their mixed blood, they can find treasures with utmost ease."

"Fairies and dragons are known to be quite greedy creatures, when they find a treasure, they collect it and keep it in their homes" - continued Menchi while looking carefully at the small creature that was sleeping in the middle of the altar.

Kyoko slowly walked towards the altar and looked carefully at the creature.

The little dragon was shaped similar to Cloud in his real form, only this one was a nice light pink color and had four butterfly wings on its back.

"Cloud, this little one is not responding" - Kyoko said as her face turned pale - "This little one is about to die!"

"!" - Menchi's eyes widened in surprise because unlike other creatures or [Magical Beasts], the [Pixy Dragon] were extremely rare, to the point that a person could count on the fingers of their hands the number of beings of this race in the world, all because their fertility rate was extremely low for unknown reasons.

When a [Pixy Dragon] laid eggs, only one of all the eggs they laid in their lifetime could survive and grow to continue the race. The problem with this, was that because of these statistics, if a [Pixy Dragon] died for whatever reason, that meant that there would be one less in the whole world and there would be no way to fix it, even if they were protected by the [Hunter's Association].

The [Pixy Dragon] slowly opened her eyes as she felt someone approach, showing cute, strange purple eyes with white pupils.

The girls let out a cry of happiness when they saw those beautiful eyes, even Kyōka was attracted to them, but after a few seconds, they noticed something strange.

The little girl was staring at Cloud.

Slowly, something began to click in Menchi's mind as she watched Cloud's interaction with the little creature closely, only to notice how the [Pixy Dragon] struggled to its feet and began to move as close as it could to Cloud's direction.

The blond frowned when he saw this, not because he found what the little creature was trying to do annoying, but because he felt that Netero was toying with him.

Cloud didn't understand how Netero had sensed that he wasn't human, or how he had managed to discover his race enough to send him in search of this little dragon, that was why Cloud was upset, he felt like he was playing into someone else's hands, a feeling that as a [Dragon King], or at least as a candidate, didn't infuriate him.

"Kyu Kyu!" - the little [Pixy Dragon] began to 'meow', as if trying to get Cloud's attention, only for him to extend his hand.

The little creature slowly jumped awkwardly into Cloud's hand and went to sleep without paying much attention to its surroundings.

"This is weird" - Menchi said as she looked at Cloud. She felt that she had managed to identify the blond's true identity, which was a huge surprise because the blond's race should be a recluse who liked to spend all her time out of the reach of other creatures.

Cloud kept looking at the small half-dragon, half-fairy creature, only to feel some of the mana that overloaded his body slowly being absorbed by the small being.

"How is it?" - Kyoko asked as she looked closely at the small creature in her lover's hands.

"She's fine, she just needs to rest and consume some of my mana to get back to normal" - answered Cloud as he looked at Menchi seriously - "I hope our mission ended in success."

"Oh, it was indeed a success, Ohoho ~" - said a male voice as it appeared, showing no one else, and no one less than Netero.
