In a dungeon chained up a man missing both his legs severed along with his right arm had his eyes closed trying to ignore the pain of his left arm when he heard footsteps enter the cell it was a couple soldiers
I felt the chains loosen but then felt pain in my shoulder again they put a bracelet on my barley functional left arm too before forcing me out the cell they led me out to the courtyard of palace when the sun hit my eyes it blinded me I couldn't remember how long it has been seen I saw it I swear I had too been down there for years " good they finally brought you out " I head a familiar voice
When my vision came back what I saw shocked me the city was filled with soldiers and outside of it was another army but this one mostly made up of beastmen looking around me I saw the emperor not too far along with a bunch of beastmen " this can still be ended peaceful just surrender " I heard wolfgar's voice
The emperor language loudly so he could hear him " there is no chance of peace with you animals " as he finished there were loud bangs smoke raised into the air the beastmen around me dropped to the ground dead " or anyone who follows you" after he said that he swung a sword towards me
Looking at the rebel army I finally saw Elise looking at me with tears coming down her face looking at her I can't help but admire her beauty I smiled at her mouthing ' I love you ' to her then I felt pain on my last remaining arm as it was cut looking down I say a blade sticking through me the get pulled out everything started to get woozy
There was a loud scream as ice broke the front line after that everything turned to chaos I could barely tell what was happening around me as I bleed out I could barely make out icarus in the sky fighting another bird who was all black she would try to get to me but got cut off by the other summon which made her furious
Looking back at the battlefield i saw Elise and shadow cutting there way to me desperate to reach me I not sure what happened but when I open my eyes again Elise was close to be fighting a group of people shadow was being surrounded unable to disappear into the shadows
Eventually Elise was able to break free to come to me just as she did the emperor came behind her noticing this Elise quickly turned around materializing her ice spear to stab him but a thin light covered his body stopping her attack " there's a reason I haven't been killed " he said coldly as he stabbed Elise in the chest
" enjoy dying together sorry for not staying to enjoy the show but I don't intend to join you " he laughed making his way to the back of his army I ignored him my focus was on Elise as she still tried to crawl to me i had tears coming down my face as I did the same eventually neither of us could go very I started at Elise unable to say anything do to weakness and the blood in my throat
