Sway

I'm currently drying some bowls while Cal is washing up. Callum is almost 2 heads taller than me, and I wouldnt say im short, but he is really tall. The bowls are red, blue, yellow and green with white polka dots. I like sorting them by colour, my favorite colour was red.

I suddenly feel warm water down my spine. "Eeeeek!" I instantly look to my left "Callum you jerk!" he is holding for his stomach while laughing his ass off. In retaliation grab a bowl, fill it with water and pour it over his head, he gets soaked. I start laughing because his shocked look is hilarious, and what started out as a joke has now turned into a full on war.

"What are you guys doing" we freeze and stop laughing as we hear Ian's voice from the hallway." few minutes later Ian steps into the kitchen. A frown upon his face, I look at Callum and as I meet his eyes I cant hold it and burst out in laughter and so does he.

"What am I gonna do about you guys?" Ian shakes his head "go on out! And dry yourselves up" he points towards the door.

Some of the kids must at one point have woken up, some of the girls are peeking out of their room. They stare at me and start giggling, I look down and realise my white t-shirt has turned see-through and is sticking to my body. I turn to look at Callum, he has turned around. He is still laughing because I see his back shaking, trying to hold it in. "Hey you don't have any spare clothes? I really don't wanna wear Ian`s clothes" He turns around and I notice his face is all red, why was it red? Instead of meeting his eyes I look down at my shoes. " well i'll let you borrow some of mine, your trousers are fine so you can wear them" I nod and go get some towels while he goes upstairs to his room.

I am now wearing a long grey hoodie, even though it was the smallest he could find, it still felt like a dress. He just laughed and patted my head, I look up at him "thank you." He has also switched into a dark green jumper, it fit him well, Callum's slim and long body made him seem like a model at times, so most clothes looked good on him. Over the years I've also noticed that he was quite the 'ladies man' even though he failed to notice the attempts at flirting done towards him. I laughed, it was funny i've always seen him as just a friend, I don't want that to change. Hopefully it won't.

The kids are now awake, and Ian is teaching them the alphabet and writing it. I'm cleaning the rooms and doing some laundry while Callum is on a break in his room. Ian is probably the greatest thing to have happened to the children, he puts in so much work and effort to give them a good childhood. He is strict but fair, and always looks after everyone, putting himself last. When I first came here he took me under his wing and let me work part time. He also helped me get used to the new lifestyle living in the city. I met him when I got lost exploring the campus and ended up outside his orphanage, he helped me get back to the university.
